MFT March Teasers {day 4}

We are half way there. The March MFT release is getting closer. Today we get to tease you with a few more stamp sets: Big Birthday Numbers, and Inspired by the Front Porch - Spring.

I find it so refreshing to stamp in different styles. I love that  you can find LOTS of different styles right here with My Favorite Things. Today I've got a couple samples using the new Inspired by The Front Porch-Spring set.  If you loved the fall edition of this set, I know you will REALLY love this set. It has beautiful images that are great for coloring, or stamping in one color.

First up is the pretty Cherry Blossoms. Mmmmmmmmm! These blossoms just make me want Spring. I know it's right around the corner, but I don't think it can get here fast enough.

I cut out two layered circles from  Circle Stax 1 & 2 from X-press it Blending cs and then I stamped the flowery branch a few times. I used my Copics to add some color to the flowers. I decided to let these flowers really shine and kept the rest of the card fairly simple.

A Trio of MFT buttons in Sweet Tooth, Pink Lemonade, and Banana Split  ( I ♥ buttons in case you didn't know ;) and the sentiment stamped in Pink Lemonade ink. I embossed the Banana Split card stock and wrapped a bit of twine four times around. I think the pink and yellow are soooo pretty together.

Since I hadn't used any of the new Die-namics on my first card, I knew I also wanted to show you a card with at least one of the dies you can order next week.

 This one is the Spring Wreath. Isn't it gorgeous. I cut it twice, once with Gumdrop Green card stock and again with Sour Apple card stock. I layered them up and used the single leafy dies included in the Die-namics set to accent my Mini Rolled Roses. I also added some Rock Candy Glitter to my roses.

I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch and pulled out two of the mini flags from the BLUEPRINTS 1 DIE-NAMICS, to use with the bow (I layered that up, too) from SPRING WREATH

I then topped the bow with a pretty Gumdrop Green button and some twine.  I am in love with this color of green. I also used the new Gumdrop Green ink pad to stamp my sentiment from the Inspired by the Front Porch-Spring stamp set.

I added a quick scallop border with the Small Scallop Border Die-namics in Whip Cream card stock. I love the touch of pretty it adds to my card.

I stamped the inside of my card, too. This time using more of the same designer paper from Studio Calico and I stamped the pot of tulips in gumdrop Green Ink. I pulled out my aqua painter and hit the edges of the leaves with a little water color.

Lots more to see today!  So I'll send you on your way.
