Pep Rally day is always an exciting one. It marks the final day of our teasers AND it is our kick off to the Release Party later tonight. I saved a few projects just for the occasion, showing off LOTS of the new Die-namics you can pick up tonight at the MFT October Release.
I played along with another of the Hope You Can Cling Challenges over on SCS. I had to use five different words on my card. This was easy to do thanks to the beautiful words included in the new CHOOSE HOPE stamp set. I was able to highlight a different sentiment in one of the four punched out circles from the PEEK A BOO SQUARED Die-namics.
I cut it out two times, once in whip cream card stock, and another time in the polka dotted papers. I then covered the whip cream square with the pattern paper. I used the whip cream circles to stamp my words. I cut a Black Licorice square, just a tad larger to matt the whole square and help it pop. A corner rounder allowed me to line it up perfectly!
I added a pretty custom bra to decorate the square. They really are so fun and easy to make, thanks to the SUPPORT HOPE DIE-NAMICS. I topped it with a center bow and a rhinestone.
A few flourishes from the new, FRAMING FLOURISHES DIE-NAMICS, to the top and bottom of the square, and a Cotton Candy Grosgrain bow and this card was finished. I love that the MFT card stocks look great with all of my favorite pattern papers. I used the Lost & Found papers-Blush by My Mind's Eye.
Changing gears, I decided to hold this project off for today. It matched my "grateful card" from the other day. I just loooved the color combo and my Kraft Felt was calling my name.
I think these will make wonderful table settings at our Thanksgiving table this year. Super easy to make, too.
Simply cut a piece of MFT felt 3x12 inches, fold it in half and run a stitch up both sides. You could get 15 silverware holders from 1 pack of felt! (If you chose to make them wider, cut to 4 inches and you could still make 12 from one pack).
I wrapped the felt with some of the Burlap Ribbon I have and then added a piece of the gorgeous Night Shift Blue grosgrain ribbon around it. I used Scor-tape, but any strong adhesive would work.
Check out the new products I used on today's post.
Here is my Inlikz List for all other products I used today. Thanks so much!
