CAS29-Anthropologie Inspired
ummmm, have you seen this store? I've always adored it. I love the funky, fresh and chic styles they carry. I've always just window shopped since I don't think I could pull off that style and because the prices are quite expensive for me. I would loooooove to own these boots! A girl could buy a lot of stamps, paper and ribbon with the cost of those. So, why do I bring this up, you ask? It's the source of our inspiration this week in the CAS Challenge forum. Click on bags and shoes to pick your inspiration piece. This clutch, kept calling my name. Kinda drab, I know, but those pleats-yummmy!So, I came up with this card and I have to say it is one of those that is just blah to me. I do love how my pleats came out, so I guess that says something. I used Saraha Sand and Very Vanilla textured cs for this. Come play along, see what you can come up with. Check out the CAS challenges every Monday! Hugs, Lisa

Your pleats turned out fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOK, what is up with the comments? I just tried to leave a comment on the adorable card from yesterday and can't find the word "comments" to click on anywhere and I know I've had this trouble before on your blog. Phooey!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, love the pleated ribbon and cute image and sentiment stamps too! And today's card is neat with the simple pleats and lovely pearls! Just different for your bold and funky style. You chose a hard bag to be inspired by, but you pulled it off!
We all want to make lots of layers and use lots of embellies and play with all our toys at the same time BUT those clean and simple cards are always beautiful. I love this blue and the pleats look great.
ReplyDeleteVery elegant and I love how the pleats came out!! The pearls add just the right touch of elegance!! Yes, I have tried to comment on a couple of your posts but couldn't find the comment line, I thought it was just me until I just read Kristin's comment.
ReplyDeleteFabulous pleats, Lisa!! I too, have not been able to leave you comments. I've never had the problem before, but couldn't leave them on the last few of your posts. Hope it gets worked out!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job on the card, love the pleated ribbon!
ReplyDeleteFor the TSG Trivia- The links are to be from the Stamp Set galleries. You did it right!
