Lil' Inker Designs April Release Day 2 hop

wooohooo! It's time....let the fun begin. It's time for the APRIL Release from Lil' Inker Designs. There is a whole lot of awesomeness happening here. You can order the FULL release NOW. We have three days jam packed with great projects and it all started yesterday. The fun starts over on the LID Blog. Laura has all the release info, plus a look at all the great products you'll want to get your hands on today. Hopefully you just arrived from Laura Williams blog. If not, be sure to start over on the LID blog

Hang with me. I've got SO MUCH to share today. Lots of pictures, I hope you'll stay until the end. So let's get started.

First up is this sweet little 3x3 gift card package made with the beautiful Petal Card die and the gorgeous Send Pretty Greetings stamp set. . The tag was created with the smallest Rounded Rectangle Stitched mats die. I stamped a sentiment from Send Pretty Greetings and then added one of the gorgeous Perky Posies flower dies.

The Petal Cards fit perfectly inside the new just released, Glassine Envelopes. Make sure you pick up a pack when you order the Petal Card die

I layered in the smallest square from the Dual Stitched Squares. That fits perfectly inside the Petal Card, too. See, how great it is when products work so well together.

The stamps are all from Send Pretty Greetings. The font is to die for and I really appreciate all the extra little images you can add to your projects.

And the final card I made. These will be great for adding to any last minute gifts or tied onto a gift card.

I used the Send Pretty Greeting stamp set again, and added more awesome LID dies to dress it up. The background is my favorite Pointelle Cover Up

I stamped the Send Pretty Greeting onto a layered Stitched Mats-Circle die and then added the Large Sunshine die . A duo of the cool  clouds from Cut it Out Accessories complete the focal image. I love how it turned out and to think it was all inspired by the teeny sun image in the sentiment. Awesome!

Hang on just a bit longer. I have a card with the stunning new floral set called Awesome Blossoms. Oh, my....it's Awesome! I made a custom stamped bouquet with lots of bright colors. I really love how some of the flowers include a great layering image for creating beautiful details.

Once I had my flowers completed, I cut out the image with a Dual Stitched Rectangle die and then cut the whole panel in half with the Border Builder die, creating the perfect place to nestle my sentiment. I then used the coordinating Awesome Blossom dies to cut out two blooms and a few leaves to add some accent pieces. Sweet, huh?!!

A few sequins to the flower centers and I had just the right touch of sparkle! That's it from me. thanks for sticking with me.

Lea Lawson is up next on the hop. Make sure you continue on so you don't miss out on the chance to win one of 3 $15 gift certificates to the Lil' Inker Shop! Leave comments and you could win!

Here is a closer look at the products I used today.

More LID goodness coming tomorrow! See you back here, same time, same place!

Lil' Inker Designs April Release

wooohooo! It's time....let the fun begin. It's time for the APRIL Release from Lil' Inker Designs. There is a whole lot of awesomeness happening here. You can order the FULL release starting today. There are three days planned that will be jam packed with great projects. The fun starts over on the LID Blog. Laura has all the release info, plus a look at all the great products you'll want to get your hands on today. Hopefully you just arrived from Laura William's Blog. If not then start back at the LID Blog.

I have a few birthday cards to share today. First up is the awesome new Boxed Up Birthday die. It's got the  signature LID stitching around the border. I think this is going to be a hot seller this release, it's such a cool way to say happy birthday.

My card base was started with the Dual Stitched Rectangles. I love the way I you can frame your panels with these dies. That dual stitched detail always makes me excited. Here is a closer look at the Boxed up Birthday in action. I tied on a sweet twine bow for a fun additional accent.

One more pretty detail you might notice are those new stiched flowers. They are a new die set releasing today and they are a must have. They are called Perky Posies. I love them, you will, too!

Changing gears from pretty and graphic, to cute and fun. OMG! you are going to LOOOOVE this new elephant stamp set. It's called Party Pachyderms.

I paired up some other great new release products. The sentiment is from Just Sayin'. It's an all occasion sentiment set and I am a sucker for sets like this. That large sentiment was stamped on a chevron pattern paper and then cut out with the Speech Bubbles 2 die set. You can never have too many speech bubbles, different sizes and shapes are always a good thing!

Here is a closer look at the fun whimsical stamps included in this set. You can build all kinds of scenes. I used the Rounded Rectangles for my main image panel. I used a second one to layer behind the main one to help it pop off my card base.

That's it from me today. I will send you on your way to see more awesomeness! Heather Hoffman is up next! Head on over to her blog and continue to leave comments along the way.

There is Blog Candy up for grabs.....3 $15 LID gift certificates will be given away to two lucky winners. All you have to do is leave a comment on the DT blogs.

Come on back tomorrow. I'll have more LID release week projects!

Sweet Sunday Sketch 265 {besties.forever.}

I LOVE this week's sketch. Oh, it's Sunday....in case you didn't know, and that means it's time for the newest Sweet Sunday Sketch. Woohoo! Seems like there has been lots of shaker talk in blog land this week, so I jumped in and made one myself. It's easy if you have the right tools and Reverse Confetti's Shakers 'n Frames is the right die set for the job.

I really love that Shakers 'n Frames included some little doo-dad dies so you can cut bits and pieces for your shaker. I added the tiny hearts and flat circles and then added some sequins and clear seed beads (pretty pink posh). Here's a detailed shot.

Following the sketch, I kept my card on the simple side, letting the shaker element shine! I added a stamped sentiment from Fancy Word Coordinates and then topped it with a die cut word from the Fancy Words Confetti Cut set. Papers are by

Here is the sketch to work with this week. Head on over to the  Sweet Sunday Sketch Blog to see all the challenge details and then be sure to check out what the rest of the team did with sketch.

Have a beautiful day!

You're Loved.Everyday.Period.

Another quick post today. I got my order from the Grand Re-Opening of The Sweet Stamp Shop speedy FAST (gosh I LOVE that!) on Monday and couldn't help myself. These adorable Pandas were staring me down. The set is called Perfect Panda

It's a little skinny card, measuring 3.75 x 5.5. The white stitched panel is from Lil' Inkers Designs. It's called Long & Skinny Rectangles. It was the perfect size to create my scene. I grounded the sweet panda with some copic marker coloring. Some sequins and an enamel heart were my other embellies. I finished off the card with a touch of Crystal Effects to the stamped balloon for a more realistic look.

The sentiment is awesome. It's how I feel about my kids. I think this will make the prefect card for a little pick me up one day. I'll tuck it away in my stash for one of those rough weeks or days. Sometimes a little reminder of how much they are loved is just what they need.
Happy Friday crafty peeps and thanks for stopping by today.

Hello {color throwdown and Deconstructed Sketch}

Some days a quick and simple card is just what the creative mind needs. I took a break from some DT work to play with the Color Throwdown and The Deconstructed Sketch. I loved them both and I pulled out my Reverse Confetti products from the latest release.

I have been saving this Pina Colada Quick Card Panel. It's my FAVE of the pack. I cut the circle from Circles 'n Scallops confetti cuts and layered on the Hello confetti cut. I cut three of the words and layered them on top of each other.

You can see the three layers I adhered together in this shot. I also added a few accents with the Shakers 'n Frames confetti cuts. Those sweet little hearts are part of that Confetti Cut set.

I'm linking this up the the Color Throwdown no.338

Here is the sketch I used for this card.

Here is a closer look at the products I used today.

Hope your Wenesday is going great! See you back here soon!
