Reverse Confetti-Feb. Blog Hop

Hello stampy friends! So glad you are here today. It's the 8th and we are still hopping with Reverse Confetti. You may have noticed that there was no release this month. While Jennifer if going through her treatments she has decided to lighten the load a bit and go back to every-other month releases (like we did the first year). BUUUUUT......we still have some goodies for you.

Be sure to leave a comment on each of the hop posts for a chance to win one of two $15 store credits.  Winners will be drawn over the weekend and announced Monday of next week over on the RC Blog.

Today I am sharing a stacked box gifty. I was going to show each box as an individual gift (one for each of my boys) but then I stacked them and loved how they looks. It's a Valentine treat, but since I have all boys I wanted to show you all a non-traditional color combo for this love holiday! I think they'll love this instead of all the pink and red. :)

The recently released Goodie Box Confetti Cut is sooooo, so good! I just love it and it's perfect for so many kind of treats. I cut three of them, one in each Mist, Stone, and Baby Blue. I then used the Goodie Box Additions Confetti cuts to create the fun little peek-a-boo windows.

Here is how that works:

  1. Cut the goodie boxes.

2.Run the smallest circle or square die from Goodie Box Additions through the die cut machine in the middle of one of the box squares.

3. Then cut the matching bigger die with some clear acetate.

4. Glue the cut acetate piece over the cut out window.

I then used the Crazy about You stamp set and the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts to embellish the boxes each a little differently. I love the little xoxo border I stamped.

Here is a close up of the top box.

I used the negative heart pieces from the heart border die to do up the front of the Stone box. Nothing goes to waste....well, at least on this project.

I tied it up with some ribbon and added a layered tag look with the circle tag from Goodie Box Additions and the Tall Tag Trio Confetti cut

I stamped greetings from Crazy About You. I snapped a pic of my cut up stamp. I thought some of you might want to see my little tip.

TIP: I like to cut the pieces apart with angles which will make it much easier to line up the words again if you want to keep them linear.

Here is a final look at the finished treat boxes! love it.

Crazy 4 Challenges-Animal Party

Hello and happy Saturday! I was excited when my friend Tammy asked me be the guest over at Crazy 4 Challenges for the month of February! So here I am  and the first challenge theme for the month was to use animals. Yay! I love my critters and I stamped and colored a whole party of them from different Reverse Confetti sets-Paw Prints, Cured, Lift Me Up, the balloons from Monkey Business. I mounted them on a Very Merry polka dotted hill top from Edgers Confetti Cuts

Senitment is from Whole Lotta Happy, stamped in Lime Green and Avocado inks. I used a banner from Layered Banner Duo. Tied on some Honeydew twine and finished the card. I can't wait to give this to my 10 year old this week for his birthday! He's an animal lover.

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you!

Curtain Call-XOXO

The LEAD will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

I was excited to find this awesome XOXO background stamp in my Reverse Confetti stash. It's from the Big Notes stamp set. I framed it up with the cross hatch frame from All Framed Up. I then pulled out Blooms 'n Buds and added in some pretty florals in Flamingo, Piggy Bank, and Salsa inks. I added a hand cut sentiment tag with the greeting from Crazy About You. I stamped the leaves in gold and added  a few gold sequins.

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!

Color Throwdown 428-Coffee First

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday and happy February!

Lynn is our hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge, CTD428!  She's chosen a color palette of redpink and chocolate brown that I hope will get us all in the mood to create Valentine's or something with a warm cozy feel.  So lovely, dontcha think?   Remember, we do use generic colors, and please feel free to add in neutrals as you wish!

One lucky participant will be randomly chosen to join us as a Guest Star Stamper on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 for Color Throwdown #430.  That person will be announced on Tuesday, February 7th.  Good luck and thanks for playing along!

Remember, if you upload your creations to a public gallery, please use keyword CTD428, and please use #CTD428 and #colorthrowdown on social media so that we can find your gorgeous creations!  When linking up your creation using the linky tool below, please be sure to link directly to your specific post, not just to your blog.  All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, and you can always check there to be sure.

I started this card with the All heart Cover Panel cut with Cloud White Card stock and mounted it on a Piggy Bank pink card base. I then pulled out the fun coffee set from Reverse Confetti. The sentiment makes me smile. It's from For the Love of Latte

I stamped the sentiment in Salsa ink and and layered up some Circles 'n Scallops confetti cuts and then added the stitched detail from Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts. I added the latte cup from Caffeinated Cups and used the Caffeinated Cups Confetti Cuts to cut it out. I finished it off with some stitched layered hearts in Salsa from XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts

Before you head off to create, here’s some inspiration from our talented team to get you started.
