TCPTues263 {what's your number}

Hello friends. I may have missed the initial post for this week's TCP Tuesday Challenge with The Cat's Pajamas, but that's ok. You have 2 weeks to play along with the current challenge. This week we are challenged to Use a number(s) on your project. I was happy to play along, using the new Numbers Plate. It's awesome. I looove the font of the numbers.....sooo cool!
I made a sweet girlie birthday card, using last week's Deconstructed Sketch no. 144.  I cut the number 13 from some chevron paper and then added a fun flower element to the corner with the Flower Button Cut Ups, tied up with some Oyster twine.

I used Framed Up Cut Ups for my sentiment panel and stamped the word "happy" twice from Your Number is Up. I added one more birthday sentiment from Simply Said

Here are the Details on how you can join in on the fun:
  1. Every other Tuesday a new challenge will be posted here on this blog as well as on ourSplitcoaststampers forum and our Facebook page.
  2. If you want to play along you just upload your design using the InLinkz button below*. If you want to display your pretties on Splitcoaststampers use keyword TCPTUES263. Only the entries uploaded to the Inlinkz button will be considered for Swanky Stamper at the end of the month.
  3. You must have your project posted by the Monday, 12 midnight EDT before the next challenge to be eligible to win the Cat Cash.
  4. Cards and projects are not required to use of a Cat’s Pajamas Stamp or CutUps die but if you do the Cat Cash amount increases.
  5. On the following TCP Tuesday, the winner will be chosen at random from the previous challenge and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $10.00 or $15 if a TCP product is used.
  6. At the end of the month, The Swanky Stamper will be selected from all the weekly entries. The Swanky Stamper will receive some of the stamps from our next release and get to play along with us at our Pajamas Party and Blog Hop. AND… They’ll even get a special spot in the Gallery highlighting the project that won them the gig and a snazzy badge to display on their blog.
  7. The Swanky Stamper will be announced the First Monday of the month on Splitcoaststampers, Facebook page and this Blog.
I am also linking this up with the Simon Says Stamp Wed. Challenge. It's a birthday celebration over there, so I couldn't pass up the chance to  play along. Come check it out.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you'll be joining us for this challenge.

Catered Crop Put a Bird on It Challenge

So fun! It's time for another Catered Crop Recipe Swap Challenge.  Linda comes up with the best challenges and they are so easy. Not really a challenge at all, just some good 'ol incentive and inspiration to STAMP! This go round she has challenged us to Put a Bird on It. You have to check out her post to see the extra humour in the idea behind this challenge.

I went with a cutie patootie chickie from the Reverse Confetti Carton Cuties stamp set. I used the matching Confetti Cut die to make the perfect cut. I gave her a sweet purple bow, thanks to the stamp included with the   I paired him up with a trendy and elegant purple and gold color combo.

I used the kraft striped paper from Collecting Moments paper pad and cut it out with the Lil' Inker Design Stitched Rectangle. That stitching is always a great detail.  I love the gold printed vellum from SU, so I cut a tag with the RC Tag Me Confetti Cut Die. I'm sneaking this in for the  Simon Says Stamp Button Challenge

Come play along with us over at the Catered Crop Recipe Challenge
Bring out the chickens, ducks, owls, eagles, just their feathers or eggs, or even NBA star Larry Bird, and show us how everything is magically better with a bird on it.

Wooohooo! I'm super excited to tell you all I am now part of the Curtain Call Design Team. I love these inspiration challenges, so I was over the moon when Stacey asked me to join the fabulous talents of the crew!

I was thrilled to get a chance to work with the adorable Winged Wishes stamp set. It is sooo, so sweet. I made this card for my first grader's teacher. She is recently a new mom and I can't wait to give this to her when she returns from her maternity leave.

RC-Sketch for you to Try 11 {birthday banners}

Welcome back. It's time for the next SFYTT by Reverse Confetti. I love these challenges. I hope you do, too.   I combined a few sets to make a birthday card for my brother in law.

The Tag Me confetti cut die is my favorite, it was the perfect edition to the sketch. I also decided to use the new, Beautiful Banners stamp set and die as one of those strips from the sketch. I pulled it forward to show off the sentiment.

To jazz up the card a bit more, I stamped some stars from Inner Rock star, in the background of the tag with some Natural ink and then made some presents with the stamps from Celebrate Cake.

Here is the sketch for you to play along with this  month.
