It's Thursday and it's Hip Hop time! A lot of the Unity and {ippity} team members are still recovering from CHA. Sure looks like they had a lot of fun and WOW! all the new products....how cool! The {ippity} release is next week!!! ARe you excited???? I am, be sure to tune in on Sunday for the start of our sneak peeks!

Until then, I pulled out a stamp from Fall For You that I think has only seen ink once! It's one of the sweet little pumpkins and I just couldn't resist using it today. I paired it up with some of the words from the same set. I just love that curved Happy! Short and sweet, now off you go to Maria's blog.

MFT August Shop Hop!

Tonight I get to show my my fun little Wyatt project. I've said it before, but being in a house full of boys, a set like Wyatt just makes me happy! I just love Wyatt's sweet little wagon and all the fun that can go in it!
I pulled out some super cute, all-boy dp from Making Memories-Just Chillin'. I pieced up Wyatt and cut him out after coloring him with Copics. I placed him on a strip of Fresh Cut Grass die-namics die cut cs and MFT twill. I've been wanting to use the sunshine die

to make a medallion ribbon for a sentiment, so today I did that! It was such a fun way to show case the sentiment, I just left out the circle center piece. I made my card a little shorter than 4.25 inches, so I could have Wyatt stick up above the card and still fit into an envelope. It's a great way to add an extra element of surprise to your card.

I also created a quick little wagon to go along with him. I'm working on a tutorial, so you can see just how I did it. I colored the T-rex, cut him out and added him to a tag with the "you're T-Rexiffic" sentiment. The tag is attached with an Earth Girl button (can you tell I looooove those buttons!)

Final Teaser Day-Tonight's the Party!

Today I get to share another template you can find in the MFT Boutique. Since there are three new templates available this month, I figured I'd show you one you will want to add to your cart if you don't own it already. It was so fun to use with the Who' That Harvest Girl Set and the
Garden Goodness sentiment set. So here's what I did with the Carmel Apple Template.

Isn't it just yummy?!!! I used some fun Cherry Hill Oct. Afternoon dp, the WTG Harvest Girl set, MFT twill, Earth Girl button, MFT Felt, and a little bit of the small scallop die-namics die. Here's the inside done up with the sentiment from Garden Goodness and some apples from WTG.
Have you seen the templates in the store? There are a bunch available right now, and three new ones, plus some awesome letter files to match Bling Bet, will be added at 10pm tonight. The COOL thing about the new templates, is they are available as cut files. If you have any electronic cutting machine, you'll be able to whip out these in record time. I don't have one, just so you know, and the print and cut, PDF's are also available. They are easy to work with, as well, they just take a little extra time and a good pair of scissors.

More MFT Teasers and Another New Line of Stamps

ooooo! I've got some fun things to share today. There's another new line of stamps being added to the MFT Boutique. They are so fun! They are called the Flapper Doodles! Today I used the oh-so chic Flappers in a Vespa! I thought the fun, Joyride dp by Cosmo Cricket was a great fit for this stamp. I added a strip of the chain border die-namicsand a flag with the sentiment. I even anchored the pieces with some cute little baby braddies! There are 3 new Flapper Doodles being introduced this month. See if you can spy them all from today's Teasers!

Today also showcases the sweet new Jolinne with Sprinkles on Top! Oh, how I love cupcakes!!! Barbara also created the cutest cupcake template and it will be added to the store Tuesday night. I used it on today's card and let me say-it was soooo simple to work with. I don't have a fancy cutting machine, just my printer and handy dandy scissors, and this still was quick to work with. It was a great excuse to use my Basic Grey Nook & Pantry dp. I used some of the pretty ruffles ribbon in green and a some MFT butons. I kept the inside simple and sweet with a matching button and another sentiment from the set.

How sweet is this one? I love the bundle of flowers she's holding and the sentiments included are just as great. I used them both, one of the outside and one of the inside of my card. I told you I couldn't stop using my new die-namic dies. I cut some clear acetate with my Flower & Leaf trio die, attached them with glue dots and used some Earth Girl buttons to hide the adhesive. Did you know that the flowers are all 1 die, so you can cut all 3 sizes at one time? Such a time saver, and great for mixing and matching materials. Helps keep it quick and simple. I also added a small scallop border along the top (So glad Kim added this to the die-namics family)and some MFT twill, ruffled up along the bottom.

Happy H{ippity} Hop and Happy Birthday To Maria!

Our sweet, sweet Maria has a birthday this week so we have highjacked this week's H{ippity} Hop to honor her and surprise her with a Birthday Themed post! So this one's for you Maria! I even got it in the mail and on it's way! That's pretty good for me ;) 30 is going to be awesome, trust me, you'll love it!

I couldn't help myself and used Fall For You for this card. I knew I had to add that little gingham photo corner and then, well, the rest of the card just fell in place. Had more fun with that green and turquoise color combo. This time I paired it with a pop of Summer Sunrise.

Day 2 MFT Teasers!

Hello again! Did you love the peaks from yesterday? I know I did. I am always so excited to see what my fellow DT member do with the sets and dies. So today we get to tease you with another A-dorable Fred Bear set, this time he's Gone Camping and he's cookin' up my favorite campfire treat-S'Mores!!!! I decided to do up a 12x12 scrapbook page since I have tons of pictures every summer with us by the fire at our lake house.

I had fun using the new Tree & Leaf trio die-namics die

and the Banner Day die-namics die for this page. I stamped the title with the coordinating Banner Day Alphabet-love the crisp clean look of this alphabet. Plus with big long words, like Marshmallow, it was the perfect size without being overbearing! The boys love a Marshmallow Party, this one we shared with some neighbors that were over for the day. A few Earth Girl buttons and twine to finish the page. Here's a close up of sweet little Fred.

We've also got another great release for both Wyatt and Emma. You'll have to wait to see my Wyatt project on release night. But here's a card with sweet Ms. Emma with her Backpack. Guess I'll have to make a few more of these and send them off to my nieces when they start school this fall. I'll think I'll include a couple packs of smarties candy! I'm lovin' that sentiment.
I used two more new die-namics dies on this one. The very cool, Chain Border die. I just love this, I don't' think there's anything like it out there. It just looks great on everything.

Then there's that mini scallop edge along the bottom. I showed it yesterday, and it's just one of those classic borders that you can't help but use. Here's the inside of the card, done up to match the outside and finished off with another sentiment from the Emma set. I added the same two dies on the inside. The dp is My Mind's Eye, from the So Sophie line and layout is one of Mercy's Tuesday sketches from the other week.
