Day 5 with MFT Teaser Time

Welcome back. Today is our à la mode teaser day. If you have been here long enough, you'll know I LOOOVE these sweet gals. Today there is a new festive birthday set joining the line up:

Big Birthday Wishes!

I pulled out more of those great MME papers, Life of the Party and got to work. You'll see I used MFT Kraft and the soon to be released, Steel Grey as my neutrals on my card. 

The à la mode was stamped on to x-press blending cs and colored with Copics. I picked two coordinating patterns and pieced up the two balloons. 

I put her center stage onto a custom made faux embossed Circle Stax 1 Die-namics. I used the new HARLEQUIN DIE-NAMCIS to cut a bunch of strips in SnoCone and then added them to the large circle also cut from Sno Cone card stock. It is an easy way to add a subtle pattern to card stock. I attached the ALM Big Birthday Wishes to the circle with some foam dots. 

To continue with my festive theme, I used the smallest dies from the new JUMBO FISHTAIL BANNER DIE-NAMICS to create this custom birthday banner. I stamped the words to the two out side pieces, and then made a sparkly cupcake with the BON APETITE DIE-NAMCIS to finish off the center piece. Some white eyelets and Stone Twine and this became a cute accent for my card front. 

I also wanted to add another sentiment from the stamp set, so it was a natural step to complete the inside of my card as well. I pulled out the SWEET STACKS DIE-NAMICS and stamped the greeting with Groovy Guava ink.
