We are getting close....only one more sleep until the December My Favorite Things Release! If you are like me, I am sure your list for Santa is a mile long. Let's make it a little longer....today is Pure Innocence day and these cuties are sure to make the list.
We have three new darlings to add to the PI family:Thanks Snow Much; Bear Hugs; Warm Wishes.
I have two of them to share today. First up is the sweet and oh-so-cute BEAR HUGS. I am in love with her. I had so much fun coloring her up. I cut out a rectangle in x-press blending cs with a Rectangle Stax 1 Die-namics. I layered that up on the pretty new POSTAGE STAMP STAX DIE-NAMICS. I am sure psyched about this new stamp.
Here's another look at the main panel. I stamped the sentiment along the right side of her. I sponged a bit of Antique Linen distress ink along the edges and then gave a quick stitch around the edge.
I added a few other details to make this PI even cuter. The papers are by MME and they are in the MFT Boutique. You can find them HERE. I also used some MFT Natural cs and a Whip Cream cs base. The grosgrain ribbon is Whip Cream....gotta have it all coordinate!
It's hard to see because I almost covered it up, but there is one of the new BRACKET EDGE DUO DIE-NAMICS along the bottom of my card. You can see that and the pretty Homespun Birdhouse heart with a Wild Cherry Button in my next photo.
We also have a new snowman friend joining us this month. Isn't he a cutie??? He's called THANKS SNOW MUCH. I love that there are snowflake stamps included in the set. You can add them where ever you'd like!
Did you play along with the Guest Designer contest this month??? You still have a smidge of time to get your entry in. Here is the sketch
and you can read all about the details of the contest HERE! The prize is soooo worth it.
Here's a closer look at the sweet snowman. I pieced up his scarf and added some of that fun coarse glitter to make him shimmer and shine. The papers are by Oct. Afternoon-woodland park. I love using non-winter papers to make a wintery card. The Sno Cone and Nightshift Blues really give it a cool, wintery feel. Dontcha think?
I used the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics to cut the vellum for my sentiment. I didn't forget about one of my first MFT Die-namics loves. A glittered up Let it Snow snowflake accents it off.
I used the awesome new LOOPED BORDER DIE-NAMICS to help decorate the inside of my card. To make it coordinate, I stamped a few of the pretty snowflakes (included in the THANKS SO MUCH stamp set).
