Color Throwdown 612

Hi, everyone! It's time for a new challenge! Barbara is here with our colors for this week. Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown: light blue, aqua, rust, and off white you'll be good...the color police won't come after you--this is all about having fun! And, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design, as well.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD612and please use #ctd612 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check 'em out to be sure. Importantly, though, no digital designsonly digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

These cute trick or treaters are ready for fun! I used this week's colors and the Spooktacular stamp set to add another Halloween card to my stash.

I colored up the cuties with copics, in the challenge colors, cut them out with the matching Spooktacular Confetti Cuts and framed up the scene with All Framed Up

For more inspiration, check out the design team members' creations below, and get inky! We can't wait to see what you come up with this week.

Reverse Confetti/ September Release is HERE

Yay! It's RELEASE DAY for Reverse Confetti and I couldn't be more excited. This release is so fabulous and it fills all those holiday desires and needs. It's full of beautiful stamps and Confetti Cuts. You are going to love it all.

Don't forget about the FREE with PURCHASE set.
Peace Tree.

I was excited to color up the In All Things wreath with my copics. I combined the neutrals with pops of aqua and wine.  I pulled out a frosted pillow box and filled with some mixed nuts. I wrapped a piece of Sweet Stripes designer paper. After I cut out the wreath with the In All Things Confetti Cuts, I added it to the top of my box.

I created a custom tag with Sand card stock and the sentiment from In All Things. I stamped it on RC Aqua ink. I rounded the corners and tied it on with some natural twine.

So much to see! Come follow me to see all the design team members and guests.

Day 3/ Reverse Confetti/Countdown to Confetti

We are one sleep away from the big Holiday release from Reverse Confetti. This is our last day of the Countdown to Confetti and we have so much to share today. Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win.

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion.  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for the graphic pinned to the top of our feed…

This first card today makes me so happy. It has NO stamping and full of confetti cuts. It came together so easy and quickly. The new Wreath of Joy Confetti Cut is beautiful and so fun to layer up. I can't wait to try this with other color combos. Today I chose, Piggy Bank, Iced Aqua and Premium Polar White.

I added in a panel of glittery white card stock for some shimmer, because all holiday card need shimmer. In the background I used the Layering Scallop Circles Cover Panel in Polar White card stock. They remind me of little snowflakes.

My next card just might be my FAVORITE from this release. It's from the new Holiday Boughs stamp set, and I think it is beautiful. I colored it up with copics and used the Holiday Boughs Confetti Cuts to cut out each of the beautiful pieces.

I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink to the center of the card front. It's a wonderful holiday stamp set called Joyful Holiday Wishes. Here is a closer look.

My final card was created with the stamp set you can get for FREE with purchase. It's so fun and totally worth it. It's called Peace Tree. You'll love it. I framed it up with the Center Frame Cover Panel

Today is jam packed with great new products. I have three cards for you today. Let's get things started with the Lanterns stamp set. Oh, wow! Are you going to love this set. The design of the lanterns is so awesome and I love that there are two sizes to choose from .

I started my first card with the Big Polkas Cover Panel.  I love a great crisp white against the kraft colored card stock. I added touches of pink and olive for a non-traditional holiday feel.

After I colored up the Lantern stamped pieces I used the matching Lanterns Confetti Cuts to cut them out, so I could begin putting the card together. I cut some vellum card stock to stick behind the opening of the lantern to help give it an authentic, frosty glass feel. I added a hemp twine bow at the top, and a scalloped edge with the Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts at the top of my Piggy Bank panel.

Moving on, I used the Center Frame Cover Panel in Mist card stock. I ink blended some Orange Fizz and Bumblebee ink onto the large Circle Rays Duo Confetti Cuts. I love how it give the look of the candle  glowing.

This time I combined the Lanterns stamp set with the Lantern Additions to give the fall vibes of this card. It will be great to create similar cards for different occasions just by swapping out the swag images and color combos. Lots of options when you combine these two. I used each of the coordinating Confetti Cuts to cut out the images.

One more for today. I was sticking with the fall theme on this one and a more monochromatic look with Rust card stock and the In All Things stamp set. I embossed it with some WOW! embossing powder and added some shading with Copic markers. I used the In All Things Confetti Cuts to cut out the pretty wreath and added to the top of the Double Stitched Window Cover Panel.  I stamped the sentiment from In All Things along the bottom in Rust ink.

Here is another quick look at the embossing detail. It really is pretty in real life. Embossing is so magical to me.

I used the awesome new Fold Over Window Tag Confetti Cut to create a fun pencil holder for a Halloween treat. I cut it from Polar White, Royal Purple, and Stormy card stock. I added adorably cute Spooktacular stamp set. I love how these turned out.

Here is a closer look at all the Spooktacular details. I used the small Three Tag Trio Confetti Cut to add the sentiment to each

I think the ghost might be my favorite.

and Boo! this pumpkin girl is adorable.

Shifting gears, I have a sweet fall card with the new Pick of the Patch stamp set. I used my Copics to color up the bears and pumpkins

I adore this sweet little bear. I set him up on the Center Frame Cover Panel Confetti Cut in Mist card stock.

Here is a closer look at the shelves full of pumpkins and gourds. I love it. The Pick of the Patch Confetti Cuts make it easy and quick to create a card for any occasion.
