Reverse Confetti/ Hello Tag You're It #80

Yay! I love when a good challenge comes back! I was so happy to see the Tag You're It Challenge up and running again. I colored up this cutie pie bear from Reverse Confetti's Heart Pals last week and made this sweet little tag for it. 

The Grid Stitched Tag (links below  in Linkdeli list)  is my favorite. I cut it in Sand card stock this time and stamped the sentiment along the bottom from Heart Pals in Midnight ink. I added the "hello" from Hello Lovely Confetti Cuts. 

Here is a close up of the colored up cutie. I used some of the pretty paper from the From Cupid paper pad.

I was inspired by the colors and patterns in the photo this week. I pulled out my Reverse Confetti stamps and dies and created this thank-you card. I stamped So Many Stars in the background and carried on the star theme with the star pattern paper cut with the Triple Chevies confetti cuts. 

I added more chevrons to the Tag Me tag and the Round About sentiment cut with a Circles 'n Scallops die.  This card makes me smile and I can't wait to find a reason to give it to some special.

Here's another look at the RC products I used today.

Tag You're it #2 {thanks}

I missed out on last week's Tag You're It challenge. Boo! So,  When I saw this week's I sat down right away to play. I looove Laura's style and the water colored, embossed background was too fun to pass up! 

I even pulled out an OOOOOOLD school stamp from Stampin' Up! My woodgrain background. Seee! I knew there was a reason I hold on to my crafty goodies. I feel like I saved money, shopping from my stash. lol. 

Here is my tag. 

I clear embossed the woodgrain background onto some Tim Holtz watercolor paper. Then I used my distress inks and my acrylic block, spritzed it with some water and smooshed the color onto the paper.

 I let it dry and then used the LID Anytime Tag Die  to cut it out a rounded tag. 

  I added the awesome brushstrokes word Thanks die cut from navy cs and then accented the tag with some wood veneer stars, vellum Stitched Stars and 6mm sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Easing Back In {Tag You're It}

I was away on vacation last week with my family. We had a great week at the beach, it was hard to come home. I did a great job of stamping like crazy before I left so I would have a few things to show on my blog while I was away (and to prepare for a few things coming up), but I forgot about the week after I got home. Hence, why I missed the Sweet Sunday Sketch yesterday. boo!  BUT....... I needed to show something  new today and jump back into stamping. It's good to take a break, but I love getting crafty again. 

The Reverse Confetti July release is almost here and I need to get busy with my samples. You're gonna LOOOOOVE what's coming! Today, I am easing back into my mojo with the new, cool Tag You're It challenge blog. It's a mini challenge this go round and it was perfect for kick starting my mojo. 

I pulled out the Tag Me die from RC and used it to make my main image panel. I love tags. I love this die, so this challenge is right up my alley.  I was inspired by the gradient of colors on the tag and the beach theme. I cut the tag twice to get a double layer of tag goodness. 

I used the super sweet and my first ever RC stamp set, Happy Harbor. I stamped the sentiment twice, first on the tag and then again on a die cut heart from Love Note. I carefully lined up the heart to match the sentiment on the tag. 

I added a sweet row of anchors in the same color ink (Brand New colors from Fresh Ink. LOVE! this is Teal). I carried out the beach theme further by adding lots of pretty mini 4mm Sand sequins. How great are those??!!! Sure make me happy!
