Color Throwdown 482-Ridin' By

Hi, everyone! It's time for a new challenge! Barbara is here with our colors for this week. Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown: pink, kraft, and grey, you'll be good...the color police won't come after you--this is all about having fun! And, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design, as well.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD482, and please use #ctd482 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check 'em out to be sure. Importantly, though, no digital designs--only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

For more inspiration, check out the design team members' creations below, and get inky! We can't wait to see what you come up with this week.

I started this one with an acrylic block and some Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. I inked up the block and then spritzed it with some water and then pressed it onto some water color paper. After it dried, I gave it some splattering with pink and grey distress inks.

I stamped the clouds from Take Flight in Stormy ink and. I used the Take Flight Confetti Cuts to cut it out. I stamped the bicycle from Rollin' in Stormy ink also and then then cut that out with the coordinating Confetti Cuts. I stamped the sentiment from Rollin' in Magenta ink. I love the tone on tone look of it. I grounded the bike with a strip of Sand Card stock and a strip of pattern paper from Free Spirit

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you as they always inspire me! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!

February SFYTT-Birthday Wishes

Hello, it's so nice to have you stop by today. I am posting with my February SFYTT card for the monthly Reverse Confetti challenge. There is still time to play along.

I did some masking with some of my favorite Dawn Machell stamps. I used the giraffe from  Lift Me Up, the alligator from Later Gator and the balloons from Monkey Business to make this fun birthday card. I clustered them together to match this month's sketch.

I picked out some fun, festive polka dotted paper for my card base, thanks to the 6x6 paper pack Cheerful & Kind. The sentiment was stamped in Midnight ink and it's from the Celebrations stamp set.

Here is the sketch.

Here are the challenge details…
There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 27th. The SFYTT button is  posted on the sidebar.  Click on it to be taken to the current SFYTT post and link list.
Reverse Confetti stamps and/or Confetti Cuts are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!
You may enter as many times as you wish.
There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of SFYTT will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog at the end of the month the month.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs, Lisa

Color Throwdown 481-Hello Garden

Hello everyone! Amy Rysavy here as our host for week's Color Throwdown challenge! This living room photo caught my eye and I just loved the look of these colors together! The colours for this week are to use light purple, dark purple, beige/off white, and brown. Remember we just use generic colors (so any brand/type/whatever you have will work) and you can always feel free to add in neutrals (white/black/etc) to make your creation pop!

If you upload your creation to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD481, and please use #CTD481 and #colorthrowdown on social media so we can find your gorgeous creations!  When linking up your creation using the linky tool below, please be sure to link your specific post, not a general link to your blog.  All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, and you can always check there to be sure!

One last detail to remember, no digital designs.  Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I started with my new Distress Oxide ink, Seedless Preserves. I stamped the flowers from Blooms 'n Buds onto Sand card stock. I after I spritzed the ink with some water and let it dry, I added some splattering of the color. After that was all dry, I added the flower details with some Royal Purple ink from Reverse Confetti. I framed up the circle with the Fa La La Confetti Cuts in Dark Roast card stock

I used the Hello word die from the Hello & Thanks label Confetti Cuts for my sentiment. I sponged on some Seedless preserves distress oxide ink and splattered on some water to activate the ink and then cut another word die with Royal Purple card stock. I tied on some twine and called this done.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you as they always inspire me! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!

One Last one-RC Valentine Mouse

I know, I know....Valentine's Day was yesterday. It's time to move on, but why??? I'm happy to spread the love any day. Here is one last card I made for the holiday. Isn't that mouse just the cutest?? It is from the Mouse Mail stamp set and I used the coordinating Mouse Mail Confetti Cuts to cut him out after I colored him up with Copics.

I used a trio of Reverse Confetti Premium Dye inks to sponge on color for my little scene. I cut the circle with the Boo To You Confetti Cuts and then sponged on some Wisteria ink and Mist ink, to make the purple moon. I added some tiny hearts with the Mailbox Starter Confetti Cuts.  The grass was created with Cloud White card stock and the Nuts about You Confetti Cuts and then sponged on some Pistachio ink and blended in some Seafoam ink. It is fun to customize colors with the array of colors from the Reverse Confetti ink line up.

The sentiment is from the Heart Felt Sentiments and I stamped it with my favorite black ink, Midnight. So crisp. So clean. Every time.

Color Throwdown 480-hipster bunny birthday

Hello there! Wanda is our hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #480! She has chosen lilac, green, gray and white...inspired by this subtle heart-shaped floral photo. It's Valentine's Day and love is in the air, however, feel free to use whatever theme you like! We are using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown, you are all set! As always, please feel free to incorporate any neutrals that you need in your design as well!

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD480, and please use #ctd480 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, please check them out if you are in doubt! One last detail to remember, no digital designs - only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I pulled out some fun Spring stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs this week. I just adore this Hipster Bunny, from the Bunny Buddies stamp set and matching Bunny Buddy Dies (pssst....  you can purchase these as a bundle! yay! Click HERE

The background was created with a mix of dies. I started with the Cloud Cover Up die in a light grey card stock. THEN I used the Silly Stitched Square dies to cut it out for the main card panel. I added some grass with the Border Builder Die and added  a sentiment from the Speech Bubble 2 Dies. Oh and that pretty purple ombre paper....that's from LID, too! It's the Dip dyed Ombre 6x6 paper pack.

I even gave him some "real" glasses, thanks to some Crystal Effects by SU!

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you as they always inspire me! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge-no.371

wow! It has been waaaaay too long since I played along with the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge. There was a time when I didn't miss a week. This past week I had to make a birthday card for one of my son's and I knew I wanted to use the (now retired) Level Up stamps and coordinating Die-namics. So fun and totally perfect for my little gamer.
I used Sketch #371 to pull it all together.

I inked up some of the sentiments to give a fun graphic background. I used the fun MFT ink colors, Lush Lagoon, Field Day, and Gravel Grey Premium Dye inks. The sentiment was cut with the happy Birthday Die-namics in Field Day card stock.

So here is the sketch I used.

Thanks for stopping by today. Check back tomorrow, I've got my CTD card for you.
