I had a lot of fun coloring this adorable scene. I used a few different coloring techniques which are really quite easy if you have patience and do a little planning. I used the pointillism (or stippled) for my night sky. It's simply adding layers of small dots with your copics, starting with your lightest color and then moving into darker tones. I used mixes of my blue greens, warm gray, and even some blues (the plurples). Here is the video link I used to learn how to do this for my night sky.
I also took the time to piece up the curtains with some designer paper. I added a bit of texture to the bear with some blending solution and a scrap of towel. Before I colored up the girl, I dabbed the soaked fabric onto the colored bear. It's subtle, but it's another quick way to added texture and give him a more cuddly appearance.
Some sweet glittery and stitched stars, sequins and twine finish the look. I stamped the sentiment in navy ink along the bottom of my frame. I love this sentiment.
