Reverse Confetti Sneak Peek {day 3 Fruit and Flamingos}

**please scroll down for the SugarPea Designs Sweet Sneak**

We are almost there. The end of the Reverse Confetti sneak peeks is here and that means you get to SHOP!!! Today we have two new stamp sets with matching Confetti Cuts to show.  Let's jump right in.

My first card is maybe my favorite from this release. I looove, LOVE the new Fabulous Flamingo stamp set. The dies to match make creating these beautiful birds oh-so easy.

All the pieces of the bird are individual stamps. This allows for easy color mixing and perfect placement of all the parts. I stamped the bird first in Grapefruit Fresh ink, then I stamped the beak in black. I then stamped the wing with Coral Fresh ink and used the matching Fabulous Flamingo Confetti Cuts to quickly cut out the bird. I stamped the legs and then popped up the die cut Flamingo and done. I chose one of the wonderful, inspirational sentiments from the set into the corner.

I'm sure you noticed the background right away. Isn't it lovely? Those are new dies, too, called Perfect Paisley. I created a watercolor background with distress inks on some watercolor paper. I used the method Stacey shared on the RC Blog last week. Check that out HERE. I actually used my Distress Markers (I don't have the ink pads in the colors I wanted). Simply scribble the colors onto a craft mat and then mist with water.

 I then placed the Perfect Paisley Confetti Cut die pieces on the dried paper and cut out lots of pieces (wait until you see how I used the negative of this paper, tomorrow). After I cut them out, I layered them up, placed them where I wanted and adhered them down. I topped each one with a Pretty Pink Posh sequin.

I also fell in love with this next set, Fresh 'n Fruity. Citrus Fruits are so yummy, bright and vibrant, but I really loooove the "orange you glad" sentiment. I always loved that knock-knock joke as a kid. You know, the one where you say banana  3 or 4 times and then finally change it to orange. Then the punch line, "orange you glad I didn't say banana?" Bawhaha! Ok, sorry. Back to my card.

I kept it simple, using the current SFYTT layout. It was the perfect excuse to use the new, Pretty Panels-chevron Confetti Cut. Love those. I kept it white one white, adding in a Class Act die cut piece behind the chevrons. It's always a perfect fit!

I stamped my oranges in Tangerine Fresh Ink, and the leaves in Sour Apple ink and then used the Fresh 'n Fruity Confetti Cut dies to create sweet oranges. I added some water "droplets" to my fruit with  a few bits of Crystal Effects.

Be sure to start over at the Reverse Confetti Blog. Jen's got all the release details there along with the list of DT members sharing today. You'll want to leave comments at each of the designer's blogs for a chance to win an RC $15 gift certificate. There is another one up for grabs on our Facebook page. That is TWO chances to win!

Thanks so much for all your kind words this week. I always love hearing what you have to say. Stop back tomorrow for our July Release Blog Hop! I saved a few more cards for the occasion!
