Lil' Inker Designs June Release

Let's kick off summer with an amazing Lil' Inker Designs release! I'm so glad you stopped by, we have three fun filled days planned for you full of awesome samples from the design team AND PRIZES.....AND a SALE!!! I told you it was going to be good.

I am in LOVE with the new I'll Be Brief stamp set. I have always been a sucker for punny stamp sets. I used the fun undies stamped in black repeatedly in the background. I used the great tag from Silly Stitched Square dies. I stamped the greeting from I'll be Brief across the top and then added the new HI die. I was looking for some star background paper and couldn't come find any so I made my own. I used the star from Super Kids stamp set

How cute is that bear?? I love these critters. I stamped him in black ink and colored him up with my copics. I then used the I'll Be Brief dies to cut him off. I used a foam dimensional to pop him up. I tied it up with some blue twine.

I couldn't put down those critters. I used the gator from I'll be Brief on my next card along with the new Whoops stamp set. The Whoops word Die is awesome, but I haven't met a word die I didn't like!

I tucked in a strip of dotted pattern paper from So Prickly paper pack. I added some pretty balloons from Lovie Friends. I stamped the Lion and colored up the balloons and then used the dies to cut it out. I tucked it behind the gator, kind of like a surprise.

I hope the back ground has not gone unnoticed....isn't it awesome?!! It is the new Cover Up: Diamond Chevron die. And hey.....you can get it for FREE when you spend $100! I love it.

Take a closer look at the New Products I used on today's cards.

and last but not least.....follow me to the rest the team's projects
and so much more inspiration.

Color Throwdown 447-Dad You're Swell

Hi, everyone!  It’s Lori is our hostess for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge.  The colors from this week's inspiration photo are navy, aqua, lime green, and kraft.  The colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD447 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd447 and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.

I used the Seaside stamp set from Reverse Confetti to ink up the whale in Iced Aqua ink. I used the matching Seaside Confetti Cuts to cut him out.  I added the "dad" word die from
Tie-riffic Confetti Cuts and some striped paper from the Warm Heart 6x6 paper pack

I added the waves in the challenge colors with the fun background stamp set called Elemental Stripes. The framed is from Greetings Frame Confetti Cuts and it was cut with Sand card stock

Check out what the team has created with these colors, and then add yours!  We cannot wait to see what you create!

Reverse Confetti June Blog Hop

Hello and welcome! I am super happy to be here today with the RC Confetti Crew to show off some amazing Reverse Confetti products for you. It is a non-release month, but we still want to share and inspire you. Jen has all the details about this month's hop AND a super awesome  SALE. Don't miss it!

PLUS.....you could win a $15 RC Gift Certificate....all you have to do is comment on the designers' blogs! Comments will close on Sunday and winner will be announced shortly after.

Lots to talk about today and I'm super excited about it all.  I made a pretty pink shaker card, because who doesn't love a shaker??!! AND it has flamingos....yes, it makes me Happy!!! Hope you like it, too. The flamingo is from the Think Pink stamp set. I colored the bird and sun with copics and used the Think Pink Confetti Cuts to cut him out.

I stamped the clouds from the cute Take Flight stamp set with Midnight ink onto my favorite Mist card stock and then cut those out with the coordinating Take Flight Confetti Cuts

I created the shaker window with the awesome Hello & Thanks Label Confetti Cut and Cloud White card stock. The stitched detail just makes me so happy! I added a layer of clear acetate behind the opening and then used some foam adhesive around the window to hold in the assortment of sequins. I used one of the gorgeous patterns from Pattern Play 6x6 paper pack for my card base. I finished the card with the sentiment from Think Pink in Midnight ink along the bottom. I think I know JUST who to send this card to.

Be sure to check out the rest of the design team today!
There is so much more to see!
here is the list:

Color Throwdown 446-Cheerful Hello

Hey, there Color Throwdown fans! I am so glad you are joining us for another week of fun colors. It's my turn to host this week's challenge colors. I hope you like them. I just adored these fun colorful birds in this kids craft. So this week we will be working with Green, Yellow, and Coral.

Remember, we use generic colors, so if you use any navy, light pink, white and gold, you are, well, as good as gold!  You can always add in any neutrals, as well!

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD446, and please use #ctd446 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, please check them out if you're in doubt. One last detail to remember -  no digital designs--only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I inked up the adorable bird set, Toucan of Friendship. I colored up the bird on a branch and few of the florals with Copic markers and then cut them out with the matching Toucan of Friendship Confetti Cuts. I then added them to a pretty water colored background in the challenge colors. I framed it up with two of the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts. I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink and tucked in a scattering of sequins.

Check out what the team has created with these colors, and then add yours!  We cannot wait to see what you create!

I am SO in love with this color combination of navy, light pink, white and gold, and I hope you all love it as well!  Remember, we use generic colors, so if you use any navy, light pink, white and gold, you are, well, as good as gold!  You can always add in any neutrals, as well!

I played up the stripes with the awesome Big Stripes Cover Panel in Navy. I used the Cloud White card stock for my card base. I then pulled in the pink with the anchor from the Seaside stamp set. I samped it in Piggy Bank and used the Seaside Confetti Cuts to but it out. I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink and added some Gold glitter dots, light pink sequins and a wood veneer heart. I tied on a bit of gold twine.
