It's time for a new challenge and we sure hope you play along with us. Who can resist these adorable gingerbread cookies?

The LEAD of this challenge will be invited to be a Guest Designer in an upcoming challenge!

Here is a close up of the details on my card. I used Taylored Expressions stamps and dies and even the Share Joy Challenge no.14 for my layout. The gingerbread man and sentiment are from Peek A Boo Christmas. I added some glittery snowflakes from Make a Snowflake and tucked in a few banner pieces from Label It. The red stitched layer is from Build a Tag 5. I tucked in some white enamel dots and clear sequins.

Sweet Sunday Sketch 299-Hello

Hello stampy friends. It's always nice to see you stop by. I have a card for you today with the latest and greatest Sweet Sunday Sketch. I used all new JUST RELEASED products by Lil' Inker Designs

I am totally digging the new Dual Dotted Circle dies. I cut it out with smooth white card stock and then stamped the Inky Flowers in black ink. I then used the Hello Word Dies to FINALLY try the camoflague technique. It's such a cool look. I cut out one of the hellos from the circle and then cut 4 more, one in black and the rest in white. I layered up the "hello" pieces starting with black and then 2 of the white layers, followed by the one that was cut out from the stamped circle piece. I then placed the stacked up die cut pieces into the negative of the circle.

In the background I cut some of the ombre chevron paper with the Dual Stitched Square die. I finished it off with some black twine in place of the flags and then topped off the flower centers with some sequins.

Here is the sketch for you.

Final Day-Lil' Inker Designs December Release

Yay! It's here....the newest release from Lil' Inker Designs. We are in the final day of the new release blog hop. I hope you have been hanging with us for the past three days. There has been LOTS to see and if you comment you could be a lucky winner one of THREE LID Gift Certificates.  It all starts on the LID Blog, but I hope you have arrived here from Sarah Jay's Blog

My final project for this release is so fun. Laura releases the greatest sassy, punny, and trendy sentiment sets, sure to put a smile on anyone's face. This one has it all, it's called Keep It Sassy. As soon as I read the sentiment I used, I knew I had to pair it with the awesome lips from the Smooches stamp set.

I first cut some water color card stock with the Dual Dots Circles die. I HEART circles!! I then went in with some ink blending  and my distress inks, Festive Berries and Scattered Straw. I added some splatters of water and once it dried I got this great base to stamp my lips and sentiment on to. I tied on some twine and added a scattering of sequins. This just called for some bling! I used the Dual Stitched-Rectangles for my card base. I love the finished look this die gives to any card.

Here is a closer look at the new products I used today.

Lil' Inker Designs December Release-Day 2

Welcome back! It's time for the newest release from Lil' Inker Designs. I just know you are going to love it! We've got three fun filled days with beautiful samples, chances for you to WIN a prize, and a ton of inspiration. It all starts on the LID Blog, but I hope you have arrived here from Heather's Blog. The fun started yesterday, so if you missed it, you might want to check it out!

First up from me today is the gorgeous new floral set called Inky Flowers. Aren't they stunning?? I stamped them on the Dual Dotted Ovals dies.

I also had to show you the gorgeous new word dies, With Sympathy Word Die. I snipped off the word "with" and paired it up with the stamped sentiment included in the Inky Flowers stamp set. SO fun to coordinate these together. Word dies make me happy!! I cut three layers of the die and glued them together for the extra dimension. It's my favorite trick.

How about a closer look at the water colored flowers? I used my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers to quickly color these up. Quick and easy. Topped the flower centers with a clear sequin.

Soooo excited about the newest cover up die, too! It is just gorgeous! It's called Diamond Lace. Use a metal shim when cutting this out and BAM! those dots just fall out. I added a strip of the Ombre Dip Dyed 6x6 paper and tucked in some previously released Leaf Love

The sentiment is another new word die, just like the sympathy one, but it's called With Gratitude. It's nice having options.

Here is another look at the new products I used today.

Lil' Inker Designs December Release

Yay! It's here....the newest release from Lil' Inker Designs. I just know you are going to love it! We've got three fun filled days with beautiful samples, chances for you to WIN a prize, and a ton of inspiration. It all starts on the LID Blog, but I hope you have arrived here from Amy Kolling's Blog

I have the hardest time trying to decide what to show you first. I just adore so much from this release. I decided on the cactus stamps.. OMG!! Such a fun and sweet stamp set. The stamps are called So Prickly. Succulents are so trendy right now, but honestly, I think they are more classic. They have been around forever. I remember my parents bringing home a cool planter from one of their trips when I was a kid. I am just glad to see them making their way into the main stream now.

I stamped one of the cactus from So Prickly and a flower from the same set and cut them out so I could use it to accent the latest in the boxed up line of dies. This one is called Boxed Up Thank You Greeting. Simple and sweet. A few other notable things about my card. I couldn't help but frame this all up with a Dual Stitched Mat-Rectangle. Check out the pattern paper. Cool, huh? Yep....it's new and you can order it right from LID!! YAY! The So Prickly 6x6 Paper pack has 12 designs and you get one of each in your pack. Too Cute!!

I have another So Prickly card for you. This time I get to show you what else you can do with this set. Laura added in these sweet little faces and some body parts so you can really bring your stamps to life! I used more of the So Prickly Paper in the background.

I use the new Dotted Tags die for my main image panel and stamped the cute little cacuts right on top. I just adore that sentiment. Some sequins, a water colored background, and a touch of twine finished this one off.

How about a closer look at the new products I used today.

Reverse Confetti Dec. Blog Hop

Super fun day! It's the 8th of December and that means it's time for the monthly Blog Hop with Reverse Confetti. It is a non-release month but we still have  a great line up of inspiration for you. So thanks for stopping by. The fun starts on the Reverse Confetti Blog. If you have not been to the beginning, I recommend you hop on over there. Otherwise I hope you have arrived from Lisa Adessa's blog.
There is a chance to win a sweet prize....a Reverse Confetti Gift Certificate. Be sure to leave a comment on all the design team members blogs. There is a hidden prize on one of the blogs and YOU could win.

I have a sweet little holiday decor item for you today. I just love the Hanging Out Confetti Cut. After I made this door hanger, I thought how easy this would be to transform into a bottle tag to take as a hostess gift to any holiday party this year. Just make it a little smaller scale to fit a wine bottle.

I cut my white card stock to 4.25 x 8 inches and then ran it through my die cut machine with the Hanging Out die. I rounded the top corners and then stitched on some pattern paper. I then set it aside while I worked on the other die cuts.

I cut two pieces of the larger Wreath die. I glued them together, carefully, right in between each leaf, and then took some time to fold up the leave portion for some pretty dimension.

I cut a pair of Holly leaves and added some red sequin berries for a touch of sparkle. I LOVE this die, the stitch lines on the leaves just make me happy!

The sentiment was easy with the Winter Words confetti cuts and Winter Words Coordinates. I cut out three of the "merry" word die and glued them together for some dimension. The word Christmas was stamped in black ink.  Simple and classic.

With December here and the end of another year closing in we thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of our favorite RC creations from the year. This was hard for me to do. I LOVE so many of the products for many different reasons. I did pick three, and I hope you LOVE them, too.

First up is this sweet card. I packed in LOTS of my favorite new dies from the year.  Leafy and Thanks Tag are two dies I CANNOT put down. The beautiful Walk by Faith stamp set is such a heartfelt stamp set. Details about the card can be found on THIS original post.

Up next is one of my many gator cards. I LOVE anything and everything Dawn Machell designs. Her images are so fresh and sweet and super fun to color up. This little guy is from the Later Alligator stamp set. It also makes me super happy to have the matching Later Alligator Confetti cuts. This card also uses two other of my favorite products released this year....the Quick Card Panels (this set is already sold out. Remember if you love the cards, then don't wait to order them. They are a limited edition product and once they are gone, they are gone) and the Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts. You can read all about the card details on THIS original post.

The third card I decided to share today is one that just makes me smile. The color combo and a combo of a shaker card with a word die....YES!!! The introductions of Shakers 'n Frames was a brilliant choice by Jen. This die makes it so easy to create a fun, shaker elements perfect for any occasion. I also love word dies! So when the Fancy Word Confetti Cuts released I was giddy. The Fancy Word Coordinates stamp set just sweetened the pot! You can read all about the details on THIS original post.

Check out the products below that I used for my holiday door hanger.

Have fun hopping along and being inspired. Follow me to the talented Jean Manis's Blog. Have a wonderful day!
