SugarPea Desings Sketch Challenge {SPD07-shore are sweet}

It's time for the next SugarPea Designs sketch challenge. I was so excited to play along as a July Guest Designer.  I just had to use the sweet new, just released Sea Side Wishes Stamp set. I looove this girl. 

I stamped her onto x-press blending cardstock with momento ink and then pieced up her dress and colored the rest of her with Copics. I added some Wink of Stella glitter pen to my sea shell and star fish. 

I added a little circle tag for my sentiment placement and tied on a sweet little anchor. The papers are from Fancy Pants, Down by the Shore from last summer. I masked off the words and only inked up part of the sentiment at a time so it would fit onto my circle.

Sweet Sunday Sketch! no.188

It's a fabulous day for a Sketch Challenge. I'm so excited for my first offical post with the Sweet Sunday Sketch team. I had a lot of fun with this week's sketch, and I'm sure you will too. You have two weeks to play. I hope you'll find some time to play along.

We are in full on Summer Mode around here. We just spent a long weekend at the lake and swim suits and flip flops are pretty much the dress code all day long out there. Life really is better in Flip Flops!

This stamp and sentiment are from  Unity's July KOM-Spirit of Summertime! It's such a fun mix of Summer! 

Here is a close up of the fun flip flops. I colored them with my Copics and added a spritz of color with my SU Color Spritzer. I did the same thing to the sentiment circle. 

I cut the sentiment out with my Circle Stax 1 & 2 Die-namics and then tied on some of my favorite Hemp Twine and topped my double bow with a small little daisy.  Cute, huh?? The Open Scallop border is also from MFT (you can find any of the products I used in the links below).
