Inspired By-hot chocolate/Lil' Inker Designs

I know, I know, it has been awhile since I joined the team for the Inspired by Challenge, but I am back at it this new year. I pulled out some of my supplies from my stash. This is my favorite die and a fabulous way to gift a gift card, it's an older die from Lil' Inker Designs and I believe it may be sold out. There is a HUGE sale happening on everything in their store. check it out. Lots of good stuff there. You could use any other coffee themed die, there are lots out there on the market. Hey,  you may even have one in your stash. I was inspired by the mitten and their cuff. So I added a band around the cup with Sand card stock stamped with a Buffalo plaid stamp. 

I added some stitched mitten dies for a touch of winter and added a sentiment with white emobssing powder onto a black strip. I tied it all up with some hemp twine.

Inspired By Challenge: Christmas Welcome

Hello and happy Friday! A new Inspired By challenge went live today and I am sharing my card here. Check out the inspiration photo, and my card that follows. 

As you can see, those stripes totally spoke to me. I pulled out the Big Stripes Cover Panel and cut it from some Polar White Cardstock. I added it to the top of a Midnight top folding A2 card. 

I colored up the pretty wreath from the Joyous Holiday. I colored it up with my Copics and then cut it out with the coordinating Joyous Holiday Confetti Cuts. I stamped the sentiment in Salsa ink.

Inspired By-Garlands Challenge/ Reverse Confetti

Hello and happy Friday! A new Inspired By challenge went live yesterday and I am sharing my card here today. Here is the inspiration photo, and my card follows. 

 I am so happy with how this card turned out. There is just something about using the negative pieces from a Cover Panel that just makes a statement. Here I was inspired by those leafy felt die cut pieces and the colors, so I made my own version of it with Reverse Confetti card stock (in Piggy Bank, Salsa, Mist, and Iced Aqua) with the Leaf Lattice Cover Panel. I cut it four times and used the actual background piece as template to ensure perfect placement of the individual leaves. 

I am still creating holiday cards so I pulled the sweet candy cane image from Joys of the Seasons stamp set. I used my copics to color it up and then cut out the image with the Joys of the Seasons Confetti Cuts. I used foam dimensionals to pop up the candy canes. I stamped the sentiment from Joyous Season in Stormy ink and then added some enamel dots and a touch of clear chunky glitter to give the berries a sugary/icy feel.

Inspired by Challenge: Blankets

I loved the warm fall colors on the inspiration photo and all the texture of course. I knew right away I wanted to use the Large Leaf dies from the Stamp Market (affiliate links are listed below, at no extra charge to you. Thank you if you choose to use them) to add the texture to my card. I pulled some Reverse Confetti colors to match the photo. I used Mist, Stormy, and Sand for the leaves. 

I pulled in the warm burnt orange color with the inks for the sentiment. I again used some The Stamp Market products, the It's Your Birthday stamps and inked up my greeting in Rust, Baby Blue, and Stormy inks. 

Before I adhered my leaves, I went ahead and added some splatter in the same ink colors. The finished panel is mounted on a Stromy A2 top folding card base. Inspired by-Table Runner (or paper strips)

I think this might be my final Halloween project for 2019. I pieced together some fun patterns from the Reverse Confetti This & That 6x6 paper pad on a quick and easy treat idea. I filled a cello bag with some Ghoul Mix M&M's and then added it to a Scalloped Bag & Treat Creator Confetti Cuts. It's such an easy die to work with. Simply cut two of the dies and score along the bottom at the same distance and adhere the panels together. 

I added a sweet little tag decorated with the Trick or Treat Confetti Cut and accented with a few tombstone images from Halloween Gnomes. I added a twine bow and attached the tag and bow to the bag with a mini clothes pin.

Inspired By- Truck Load of Fall/ Reverse Confetti

Hey, hey! its fall and I have decorated my house for the season. Now if the weather can get on the same page. It has been in the 90's for weeks. I live in OH, not Texas! I love warm weather, but I do look forward to cooler temps in the fall months. I hate when it goes from Summer to Winter. This inspiration photo gives me all the fall vibes! I was inspired by the truck and all the pumpkins, so I combined a few Reverse Confetti sets and created a fall hello card. 

In place of the truck, I opted for a fall flower filled wheel barrow from the Spring Pals stamp set. I just used some fall colors to color up the florals. I tucked in a mushroom and pumpkin from Nuts About You and then stamped a quick sentiment from the Sentimentally Yours stamp set. 

I added in my favorite pattern from the This & That paper pad and framed it all up with a  Scallop Squares Confetti Cut. check out the Inspired By challenge for more inspiration.

Acorns... I'm a sucker for them so you can bet that every fall, there will most likely be an inspiration photo using acorns. Of course you don't have to include them in your project. How does this inspire you? acorns? fall? leaf? colors? trio?

I LOVE the mix of blue and gold (yes, I am a Michigan girl) and the texture from the acorns. The beautiful Reap a Harvest stamp set and Reap a Harvest Dies (it looks like it is out of stock, the dies are there tho. You could easily re-create this card with the Fall Foliage stamp set) was the stamp set I reached for from my stash. 

I stamped the outline images in Navy ink onto a piece of Premium Polar White card stock cut with the Silly Stitched dies and gave a splattering of golds and yellows to the background. I then embossed the acorns, hard to capture the shimmer in the photo, with some copper WOW embossing powder. I used Copic markers to color up the long leaf images and added the sentiment in Navy ink onto a strip of Mist card stock. To complete card front, I tucked in some copper cord behind my main images and added the finished panel to the top of some kraft card stock cut with the Stitched Woodgrain Cover Up.
