Color Throwdown 549-Hello

Good Wednesday Morning! Vickie is our hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #549!  She chose some of my favorite colors and I love them even more in this combo. Blue, Orange, and Grey.

I mentioned last week that I have been coloring along with the Daily Marker 30 Day challenge. I like to push myself out of my comfort zone with this challenge. I pulled out my favorite giant floral from Concord & 9th, Hello Lovley,  and did some more practice with  my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I went a little bold and used this week's colors for the flower. I LOVE the grey leaves.

I also used the previous sketch from  Freshly Made sketches to pull my card together. It's a classic layout, with so many options. I wanted the flower to really stand out, so I kept the sentiement super simple by just using the die cut hello banner from the coordinating Concord & 9th die set.
