Color Throwdown 530/ Lil' Inker Designs Birthday Pup

Hi everyone... Wanda is here as our hostess this week's Color Throwdown Challenge and she chose the  following colors: dark pink, gray and black, along with any neutrals that you wish to add.  It's a perfect palette for that last minute Valentine you might need, but there are many other themes that would work as well.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD530, and please use #ctd530 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, and not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check them out to be sure.  It’s also important to use no digital designsonly digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

It's been the year of dog birthday cards. My family loves dogs and so it is an easy go-to to grab and color up. This pup is from Lil' Inker Designs set, Angel Pets. I love stretching my supplies and I love that Laura designed this set with the wings as separate images so I can use them or not. Today for the birthday card, I didn't want to use them. I did use the coordinating  Angel Wings Dies to cut out my birthday pup.

I also used the Radiating Heart Die BUT covered up the heart with a Stitched Mats-Circle, again....stretching my supplies. I added the birthday greeting from I'll Be Brief. The balloons stripes were from the Boo Balloons stamp set and then cut from the Balloon Die set.

Now here is some great inspiration from the talented design team.  We can't wait to see what you create!
