Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
We are lucky to have my friend Jodi here as this week"s hostess and with a brand new color combination! Remember, we are using generic colors, so as long as you are close, you are good! This week's colors are orange, turquoise and yellow! I sure hope you love this combination as much as I do! As always, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design as well!
If you upload to a public gallery please use the key words CTD435, and please use #ctd435 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so please check them if you are in doubt. One last detail to remember, no digital designs. Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.
Not a surprise, I used Reverse Confetti stamps and Confetti Cuts for my card this week! I had some fun with the Circle Wishes stamps and Circle Wishes Confetti Cuts. I loved using the circles to cut out some windows. I also used the Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts to add the large circle window and stitching detail. Love that!
I also finally got to really play with the Elemental Stripes stamp set that released this month. It is so fun. I love how you can customize just about any panel. I used 4 of the stamps from the set to create the great graphic design for my card front. The Iced Aqua, RC Aqua, and Tangerine were perfect for this week's challenge colors. I added some Lemon Drop ink (MFT) to complete the color combo.
For more inspiration, check out the other design team members' creations below, and get inky! We can't wait to see what you come up with this week.
