The party continues, today! I am so glad you are back today for more fun. It's Reverse Confetti's 3rd birthday and we are on the second day of the Coutdown to Confetti. Make sure you start over on the RC Blog. Jen's got all the release details, beautiful projects, and the list of Confetti Crew members sharing peeks each day. You will want to leave comments along the way. There are 3 $30 gift certificates being given away. Free shopping to three lucky ladies....who wouldn't love that??!! Good luck!
Today's peeks are of the gorgeous new cake set called Candles 'n Confetti! I am no baker or caker decorator, but put it in paper form and I can feel like a rockstar! I love all the bits and pieces in this set and all the many ways you can build your own cake. I stamped the peices up and then used the coordinating Candles 'n Confetti Confetti Cuts to cut them out.
I used some Picked Raspberry and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks to create a pretty watercolored backdrop for the beautiful celebrate Quick Card Panel-Party Time. With the QCP covering most of the watercolored panel, I went ahead and cut out the middle part of the paper. This is an old trick I use to use when scrapbooking to save on paper. Just make sure you cut out a portion that is smaller than your top panel. I used the water color strip along the bottom to stamp stamp my sentiment from Celebrations. I then tucked in a sweet silver scalloped edge from the Edge Essentials. I added some silver glitter confetti with the Falling Confetti Confetti Cut.
Quickly switching gears from weddings to birthdays, it's that easy with this set. Seriously, create any cake for any occasion. You'll love it!
This time I used the Topped Off Tag and the new Top O' The Tag Confetti Cut. These are so awesome, I know you will love them. I stamped at sentiment from Celebrations along the top and added an orange Hang Ups re-enforcer and Natural Solid Twine to my tag.
I added some tone on tone die cut details with the pretty new border Confetti Cut called Linked Garland. There are two parts to this die, you can stack them together for a layered look or just use it like I did with just the top piece.
In the background, I used the Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts to make a little rounded window for a pop of color and a way to accent my cake from Candles 'n Confetti. I stamped the rest of my sentiment from Celebrations onto a limelight Stitched Flag Trio.
Here is a closer look at the products I used on today's projects!
