The challenge is to use monochromatic pink on your card. It's the season of LOVE (Valentine's Day is Friday.....are you ready??) so I already had a bunch of pink on my desk.
Here's what I came up with. I couldn't help myself. Love my Reverse Confetti. Today I created a custom sentiment with Go Together.
I used the Tag Me die for a large tag and then cut out a small heart with the Love Note dies. Since I used some designer paper, I wanted my sentiment to stand out. I made a lighter pink panel with Insulation pink cs, added a Pink Lemonade small scallop edge (Double Edge Scallop Border) and stamped the words in the matching Pink Lemonade ink.
Here's a closer look. I needed just a little something for my background, so I stamped more hearts with one of the fun borders from Whole Lotta Hearts.
The challenge asks you to classify your card into one of the styles they showcase on the blog. I always have a hard time with this. But I'm going with Clean and Layered. I started out thinking Clean & Simple, but when I look back at it, I think there are a bit more layers than a CAS card would call for. What do you think?

ReplyDeletePerfectly pretty in pink! You did an awesome job incorporating different shades to achieve a fabulous monochramatic color scheme! Great sentiment snd sweet twine bow! I'm leaning a bit more to a clean & layered style to your card - clean & tidy elements layered together without compromising a clean and simple look.
