Let's kick thing off with this month's WTG stamp set. I love how each month is always different and this month, I think you are really going to like. You get a Who's That Girl and a Who's That Guy image....all in one set. It's called: Godspeed.
There is lots of Die-namics layering on this card....and I squeezed in as many new Die-namics as I could. The next, basic shape being added to the Stax family is SQUARES 1 & 2. I used both sizes here. Awesome, isn't it??? It cuts and embosses a border, just like the other Stax Die-namics.
I accented my sentiment square with a strip of the new NOTCHED BORDER. Love this....it's like a masculine scallop to me, I know it will be used LOTS with all my manly cards. The heart from NOTCHED TAG was a perfect fit to nestle into the sentiment.
I saved the best for last.....OMG!!!! soooo super excited to also have TRADITIONAL TAG STAX, also join the line up. I have been a fan of tags for a LOOOONG time, and this is the perfect basic, MUST HAVE tag.
I know you'll love all the samples from today. There's a cute, WTG image that goes along with this set...wait until you see it.
Kim's Blog has the DT line up for today's Teasers! Hop on over there for the full set reveal and all the details.
Below is the list of Die-namics I used....these are going to be released on June 5.
And these are available now....click the graphic to see them in the boutique.
Here is what I did with it. I LOVE the big bold, sentiment, I KNEW I HAD to use that on my card, so I focused on the soldier image, to go along with it. I stamped him on x-press blending cs and colored him up with Copics. I used some Echo Park-Take Note dp, which was also one of my inspiration pieces. I think those numbers and grid, resemble postage stamps.
I played up that, by adding in the postage die-namic from FIRST CLASS FRIEND. Of course the DOG TAG DIE-NAMICS was the perfect place to add a sub-title.There is lots of Die-namics layering on this card....and I squeezed in as many new Die-namics as I could. The next, basic shape being added to the Stax family is SQUARES 1 & 2. I used both sizes here. Awesome, isn't it??? It cuts and embosses a border, just like the other Stax Die-namics.
