Thanks for joining me again this week. I have so much fun with these sketches. We are showing off our second sketch of the year. You should play along for a chance to win a weekly prize. It's easy and FUN!
This week I am showing off the birthday card I made for DS. Yep, my oldest joined the double digit club. I seriously can't believe how fast the last 10 years flew by. If you read my post on FB yesterday, you'll know that I mentioned how teary eyed I got thinking about the next 8 YEARS and how fast THOSE will fly by.
My kids know I make a LOT of cards. It's just who I am, so they never really say much about them. BUT J got a big smile on his face when he opened this one and said, "this is really cool, mom!" I gave a BIG smile, right back.
He's a very talented soccer player, so I knew right away I wanted to use the newer ALL- STAR SET for his card. The little flag is the awesome new WAVY PENNANTS flag on the post from MINI PENNANTS. You NEED both sets of die-namics, trust me!You'll also see I used STACKING STARS, and some MFT TWINE. I used BANNER DAY ALPHABET for the number 10 and the stamped Happy Birthday border is from BY THE NUMBERS STAMP SET.
Here is the sketch for you. Give it a try.
