The colors I played up are Simply Chartruse, Melon Berry, and Aqua mist. they are all mounted up on a kraft card base to help tone them down. Can you see the fun zebra print on the melon berry square. LOVE that new Animal Prints impression plate. Stamp set is Hello, Friend.
I also recently got the super fun boy set, Game on. Now it has nothing to do with the inspiration phot, except that I used the same marker technique, just on a skinny strip of cs and in grey tones. I again, had to try out the animal print impression plate, this time Cheetah!

Such cute cards! Love the colors you pulled from the wall to use in your card!
ReplyDeleteI love your card! The colors you chose are so pretty and love the flower stamp!!
ReplyDeleteLisa, what a lovely inspiration card! I particularly like how you used the Copic technique on just one panel, instead of the whole background--very effective! Gorgeous color combo, and the Kraft as base is just right! Love the gradient strip on the boy's card too--the monochromatic version of the technique is so cool too! Happy June Hopping!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards! You've got that technique perfectly and it is fun to see how it works on a feminine and masculine card!
ReplyDeleteLisa, I love the background with the Copics. I thought the same thing when I saw the inspiration (about Nichole's cards during the countdown) - however, I'm lacking on Copics (that is more accurately stated as, "I don't have any" LOL) And I really like the boy card - both the cheetah IP and the marker technique in greys.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! I especially like the layout of the first one.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you combined a variety of products and pulled them all together into this beautiful card! Great job.
ReplyDeletelove your inspiration card, lisa:)
