Reverse Confetti July Release Day!
Join me and the rest of the Confetti crew & friends as we celebrate the July Reverse Confetti Release! You can SHOP THE NEW RELEASE HERE!
BUT.... you might want to join me first with the amazing release day blog hop.
I pulled together this sweet little hello card, using bits and pieces from the release. I had lots of parts left from the Circle of Waves Confetti Cuts left over from my card I shared yesterday, so I used three of them in RC Aqua, Navy, and Sand card stock. I added a frame with the Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts in Mist card stock.
I then colored up the sweet little star fish from Oceans of Love and then cut out the pieces with the matching Oceans of Love Confetti Cuts. I stamped the sentiment, borrowed from Hummingbird, in Midnight ink. I placed the finished scene onto a premium polar white 4.25 square card.
Thank you for all your kind words this week! I appreciate you stopping by my little place on the internet.

Calling all my Hummingbird lovers! This new Hummingbird set from Reverse Confetti is so gorgeous. I really enjoyed coloring up these birds. I went ahead and googled Hummingbird images and then used some tips from Kathy Racoosin and did some color plucking and blended my colors to bring in all the different hues of colors in the birds feathers.
I then used the Hummingbird Confetti Cuts to cut them out and added them to the top of a Mist PeekaBoo Cover Panel. I love the dimension the little peek a boo tabs add to the card.
I then stamped the birthday sentiment in Midnight ink on a strip of Premium Polar White card stock and then finished it with a strip of washi tape.
My next card is just as fun. I started with the Circle of Waves Confetti Cuts in Navy, Baby Blue, RC Aqua, Mist, and Iced Aqua card stocks.
I have one more for today. It looks simple, but I think it turned out great! I cut the awesome Stitched Pinwheel Cover Panel in 4 different colors. I cut my frame in Premium Polar White first, and then in Lime Green, RC Aqua, and Iced Aqua and filled in the negative space of the Polar White frame.
I colored up the sun and cloud from Oceans of Love and added them to the center of the pinwheel. I then added a sentiment from Lovely Day Sentiments in Midnight ink to the bottom corner.

I stamped the sentiment from the Bloom set, (isn't the font just awesome?) multiple times along the right side of the image in Midnight ink and then accented the card front with an assortment of enamel dots and a strip of RC Aqua card stock.
My other card for today shows off a few of the new Confetti Cuts releasing this month along with the sentiment from Bloom. I started this with the Circle Element in RC Aqua and then tucked in a sandy hill top with one of the pieces from the Circle of Waves Confetti Cuts.
I stamped the sentiment from Bloom in Midnight ink onto a strip of Lime Green card stock and tied on some natural twine to finish it off.

I love a great graphic b&w card. As soon as I saw these amazing, large leaf images from the new Tropical Leaves stamp set, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them. I stamped each leaf images twice, in Midnight ink onto Premium Polar White card stock and then used the Tropical Leaves Confetti Cuts to cut them out.
I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely Day Sentiments stamp set in RC Aqua ink in the center of the card panel and then I got busy adding the cut out leaf images around the card to frame up the greeting. I used foam dimensionals to pop up each of the leaf pieces.
Check out the detail. I love how it came together.

Color Throwdown 643-Sharing in your Sorrow
Hi, y'all! Broni is our hostess for this week's CTD challenge. She's always said that her favorite color is “water”, so this week she chose a fun palette of soft watery colors for us to play with. The generic colors are Aqua, Ice Blue, and Pale Green.
If you upload to a public gallery please use the keyword CTD643, and please use #ctd643 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of this post, please be sure to use a link to your specific post, not just a generic link to your blog. And remember only paper creations are allowed.
Here is my card.. I used the pretty Lily of the Valley stamp set from Reverse Confetti.
I framed the pretty vase of flowers with the Double Stitched Window Cover Panel.
We can't wait to see what you come up with this week.
