Today we have two holiday sets, Joyous Holiday and Joys of the Season. Let me show off the darling angel from Joyous Holiday. I colored her up with Copic markers and cut her out, along with the manger and little mouse friend, with the matching Joyous Holiday Confetti Cuts

I framed up the images with the cut the Rounded Stitched Window Confetti cut in Midnight card stock and Premium Polar White. I blended on a bit of Sunshine ink to  make the background "glow" behind the angel. I added the finished panel to a Stitched Circles Cover Panel Confetti Cut die cut from Mist card stock. I completed the card with a die cut greeting from the new Blessed Confetti Cut. I added Island Blue and Baby Blue inks to get a pretty and vibrant blend.

My next card shows off the Joys of the Season stamp set and the new 6x6 paper pad This & That. I pulled a few red and green patterns from the stack and trimmed them down to fit my card panel (4 inches x 1.5).

I stamped the greeting and holly leave images around the bottom border of card panel in Midnight ink. I then added some traditional holly colors with my copic markers.

After I colored up the images, I adhered the pattern paper panels down and tied on some natural hemp twine. I then added some Avocado and Sand card stock panels to finish off the card.

Tomorrow is release day! WE have more to share, so come back to see it all. here is today's line up!

Picket Fence Studios/ Happy Stamptember

It's the most wonderful time of the year! It's Stamptember and I am so honored and really excited to be joining the fun with Picket Fence Studios. It's so cool that Nicole and Matt teamed up with Simon Says Stamp and created the most darling set for this collaboration. The set is called Shake Your Flakes This Season

I have two cards I created with this new set. First up is my snowy wintry sky with a few snowy friends. I did some ink blending with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks in chipped Sapphire and Broken China. The PFS Life Changing Blending Brushes made the job quick and easy. I then used some white pigment ink to add a flurry of snowy flecks.

I set it to the side to dry and started coloring up my snowman and pups. I used my Copic markers to color them up and did some fussy cutting with my paper snips. I then added some foam dimensionals to the backs of my images to make them pop.

I added the sentiment to the top right corner in Intense Black ink. I used my Misti to stamp it, so  I could ensure a solid impression on the textured water color card stock.

My next card I wanted to keep it a one layer card and not have to cut out the cuties, so I stamped and masked off the snowmen and then used the Life Changing Blending Brushes to add some ink to the sky and ground.

I kept it soft with some Milled Lavender and dried Marigold. I used some Broken China for the ground. I then colored up the snow buddies with my copics.

I stamped  the sentiment from Shake Your Flakes This Season in Intense Black ink. I know I said it was a one layer card, but I did end up popping up the colored panel. So it's a one layer-ish card. Still flat with no other embellishments for easy mailing. I tucked in a strip of rainbow striped paper.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Today our two sets we are sharing are Halloween Gnomes and With a Thankful Heart. First from me today is probably my favorite card from this release. I love building scenes and usually I opt to die cut all my images with the coordinating dies, today I put my stamping and masking skills to work and created an almost, one layer card. I stamped the houses and trees and a tomb stone and then I stamped them again onto some masking paper. I then masked off images and used my Copic markers to color in the background.

I couldn't resist adding bits of dimension so I used the Halloween Gnomes Confetti Cuts to cut out the bad and spider image and popped them up with some foam dimensionals. I used more copic markers to add in some ground with grass and gravel. I added the greeting with the Trick or Treat Confetti Cut. I cut it from one of my favorite patterns from the This & That 6x6 paper pad. I LOVE a great word die and I did my three layer trick to get the right thickness. Three layers, adhered together just makes it perfect and really pops off the paper. I added the finished card front to a Royal Purple top folding card base.

While I had out that Royal Purple card stock, I whipped up this sweet little tag for a simple gifty. I used the Square Window Tag Confetti Cuts for my tag base and then colored up the gorgeous pumpkin from With a Thankful Heart. It's a similar design to the butterfly released last time.

It has the floral images on the large pumpkin AND it also has separate matching florals that you can use alone or layer over the pumpkin. I did there here for a pop of dimension. It's easy to color and cut these out with the With a Thankful Heart Confetti Cuts

I created a tag with the smallest Pierced Round Top Layers Confetti Cuts. I cut it from Polar White card stock and then stamped a sentiment from With A Thankful Heart in rust ink

I wrapped up the pencils with a band of gorgeous pattern paper from This & That (I think I need to order a second pack of this paper. The patterns are beautiful and a great mix for the coming seasons). I tied the tags on with some natural hemp twine.

Countdown to Confetti/ Reverse Confetti September Release

First up this countdown is the gorgeous Peony and Sentimentally Yours stamp sets. Jen creates the best sentiment sets and the font on this one is pretty awesome. I created a soft and pretty (and sparkly) floral image and added a piece of pattern paper from  the new 6x6 paper pad, This & ThatIt's graphic and bold and a perfect back drop for the pretty floral.

I started this card by embossing the giant gorgeous Peony stamp and a handful of the greenery from the Peony stamp set. I used some white embossing powder onto watercolor card stock and water colored it up with my Distress Markers (tattered rose, spun sugar, picket raspberry, shabby shutters). I used the Peony Confetti Cuts to cut it out.

I love a great window element on my cards, so the new Rounded Stitched Window Confetti Cut is going to be a new favorite for sure. I used it to cut out the rounded window and I am giddy about the stitched detail around the border. Before I popped up the Polar White panel with foam dimensionals over top of the b&w pattern paper from This & That, I stamped the greeting from Sentimentally Yours in Piggy Bank ink.

I then added in the dried floral and leave images and attached with more foam dimensionals. At the last minute I decided to add some subtle sparkle with a wink of Stella pen. It's so sparkly in real life with the embossing and glitter pen. I think I was able to capture the shimmer in this photo.

Here is the line up for today. Be sure you see what the rest of the team has created with today's sets.

Color Throwdown no.559-Good Day Happy Mail

Hello there!  is here she's our hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #559!  I hope you'll like creating with the colors Navy, Coral, Mustard for this week's challenge and I hope they inspire you to create something special. We are using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown, you are all set! As always, please feel free to incorporate any neutrals that you need in your design as well!

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD559, and please use #ctd559 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, please check them out if you are in doubt! One last detail to remember, no digital designs - only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I started with the mustard color in my background with the Split Circle Cover Panel from Reverse Confetti (All links below in linkdeli. Thank you for shopping with my Affiliate Links. I provide these links at no extra charge to you) as a stencil and blended a combo of Sunshine and Rust inks to customize a color to match more of the mustard tones I was looking for.

I then inked up the Happy Mail corner floral image and used an handful of Copics in the challenge colors to create my focal point.

The sentiment was stamped in Navy ink, it's from the Sentimental Sayings stamp set. It's a must have addition to your stamping supplies if you haven't picked it up yet. While I had the Happy Mail stamp set out, I also added some navy flowers to the envelope. Easy and such a great way to quickly coordinate your card and envie.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!
