Today's sets are lovely and work so great together or alone. They are called Bold Blooms and Sentimental Sayings. I think they will be a fan favorite for sure. I used a handful of RC inks (Pistachio, iced aqua, Lagoon, Bumblebee, Coral, Peach, Piggy Bank and Lime green) to create the Bold Blooms and then used the coordinating Bold Blooms Confetti Cuts to cut them out. I clustered them together and then I used some Press & Seal to pick up the bouquet I created so I could flip it over and glue the pieces together.

Check out the background. I used the new Bubbles Confetti Cut to create a stencil, and I used a Life changing Blending brush to add a pretty design to the background. I love the softness of the Buttercup ink.

The sentiment was stamped in Lagoon ink. Isn't the mix of fonts in the Sentimental Sayings stamp set. Here is a close up of the dimension of the bouquet.

I used the Sentimental Sayings again on this next card with a handful of new Confetti Cuts. There are some great ones. The Circle of Hearts Confetti Cuts was cut from Mist card stock. I created a fun interactive card with the Fold Over Confetti Cuts. I used the pretty flowers from Butterfly Blooms (peeked on the first day) to decorate the flap of the tag.

I did some tone of tone stamping with Stone ink on Stone Card stock and then stamped a Sentimental Sayings greeting in Midnight ink. I tied on a natural twine bow.

. . . . .
It's my favorite day during release week. I am very partial to all things Dawn Machel. This month there are three adorable sets,  you are going to flip over: Lemonade Stand, Hippo Pool Party, and Let's Shellabrate. I have two to share today.
first up is Lemonade Stand. I started with some ink smooshing of Squeezed Lemonade distress ink for my background. Once it was dry I gave it a splattering of Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin ink. I then got busy coloring up with sweet little scene pieces. I did a little paper piecing with a fun polka dotted pattern from the Sun & Sea 6x6 paper pad

The colored pieces were cut out with the Lemonade Stand Confetti Cuts and then set aside while I stamped out the sentiment in Midnight ink onto a strip of Sand card stock. I added in a duo of clouds from the Over the Rainbow Confetti Cuts. All the bright sunny yellow just makes me happy.

My next card shows off a rainbow of colors with the Hippo Pool Party stamp set. I did some ink blending with Bumblebee ink and Orange Fizz along the top and Sand ink along the bottom for some sand.

I couldn't decide which images to use, so I picked them all. I colored them with Copics and and then cut them out with Hippo Pool Party Confetti Cuts. I added the fun Pool Confetti Cuts. I cut it twice, in mist and Stone cardstock. Oh, and check out the sweet hippo's swim suit....I paper pieced it with the cool chevron pattern from Sun & Sea paper pad.

I stamped the start of the sentiment at the top of the card with Midnight ink and added some Polar white clouds from Over the Rainbow again. I finished the birthday greeting along the bottom of the card.

Reverse Confetti/ July Release Day 1

Hello Fetti Friends! I am so excited to get things started with the July release from Reverse Confetti! Two amazing sets kick the countdown off. They are Butterfly Blossoms and Happy Mail. Oh, so good! I had fun coloring this one up. I used my copic markers and gave the butterfly and flowers some bright, cheerful colors. I then used the coordinating Butterfly Blossoms Confetti Cuts to cut out the butterfly.

As I put the card together, I did some subtle stamping with Stone ink on Premium Polar White card stock and added more of the pretty flowers in the background. I stamped a sentiment from Butterfly Blossoms in Midnight ink on the left side of the card. I tucked in some clear sequins and layered up the image panel with Stormy card stock and a Stone top folding card base.

I was thrilled to have this new envelope stamp this month. I always have good intentions to create coordinating envelopes with my cards and often times skip this step. The new Happy Mail stamp set makes it so easy and not to mention easy. I stamped the lines and greetings in Midnight ink and added the floral images in the corner of a turquoise envie in Lagoon ink.

Color Throwdown 550/ Reverse Confetti

Hello everyone! It's Wanda is here with some fun new colors - red, green, black, white - that will hopefully give you lots of options for creating cards or projects! Remember, you can add in any neutrals as you wish.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD550, and please use #ctd550 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, and not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check them out to be sure.  It’s also important to use no digital designsonly digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

My 19th wedding anniversary was on Monday. I made this card for my hubby. I used the sweet little set from Reverse Confetti called Ice Cream Social. I colored up with Copics and used the Ice Cream Social Confetti Cuts to cut out the love duo.

I blended on some Seafoam ink with a retired Hearts stencil and a Life Changing Blending brush. I added a strip of Sweet Stripes paper and then stamped the perfect little sentiment from Word Up in Midnight ink. I finished it off with some sequins and enamel hearts.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!
