Reverse Confetti/ June Creative Hop

Hello, Hello! It's the 8th and that means the Reverse Confetti Crew is getting creative. We are so excited to share our June Creative Hop projects with all our Fetti' Fans. So grab a cup of your favorite beverage and join us.

Today I got creative with some of the beautiful framed cover panels and layers of ink. I had a few sympathy cards to send out so I used the gorgeous Tall Blooms stamp set. I love the font and it has my favorite sympathy sentiment.

I started this one with some ink blending and the On the Curve Confetti Cut used as a stencil. I used a Life Changing Blending brush and some Buttercup ink to create the soft and pretty yellow background. Once the ink was dried I stamped the open leaf sprig image from Tall Blooms with some Versamark ink and then embossed it with some Rose Gold embossing powder powder.

The sentiment was stamped with Midnight ink along the left side of the card front. I framed it all up with a Premium Polar white panel cut from the two largest Lacy Scalloped Frame Confetti cuts. I ran them through my die cut machine together to create the frame.

The next card also uses the crisp Premium Polar White Card stock frame up a pretty flower from Tall Blooms. This time I focused on a single bloom and colored it up with copics. I then used the Square & Circle Frame Confetti Cut to showcase the flower and sentiment.

I used the same sentiment on this card, but this time I used the Rose Gold embossing powder on some vellum card stock. I didn't want to hide any of the flower, so vellum is a great way to still have that flower peek through.

I can't wait to see what the rest of the crew has created for today.
Come join me.

Color Throwdown 546-Sending Rainbows

I am so excited to be this week's hostess for the Color Throwdown Challenge! I saw this pretty quilt with the fun summery colors and just had to share with you all. I am obsessed with Navy and Coral and adding in the teal makes it so great. I also loved graphic design on the quilt. SO this week have some fun with Navy, Coral, Teal, and Cream. I can't wait to see what you create with it.

I knew right away that I wanted to use the gorgeous Triangles Cover panel by Reverse Confetti. The stitched details and the graphic design were perfect for this inspiration photo. I then cut out the rainbow from Over the Rainbow Confetti Cuts from Premium Polar White card stock and then blended on some Coral, RC Aqua, and Navy inks. I tucked in the sweet little sun, also colored up with Coral ink and added some of the white clouds from the die set to finish my rainbow.

The sentiment is from Rainy Day Fun and I stamped that in Navy ink. Simple and sweet but full of details.

Before we jump into June, we'd like to say thank you to our May Guest, Cécile Ribon.

Please help me give a warm welcome to our

Reverse Confetti/ Thank You

So today was the last day of school for us here in Cincinnati. It also marked the end of an era for our house. It was the last of my kiddos to finish 6th grade in the elementary school we have been at for years. It's been 12 years with kids in that building. It is filled with so many amazing teachers, doing amazing things to ready our kids for the Junior High. It was a bittersweet day.

I created some thank-yous for N's teachers. I combined a handful of Reverse Confetti products. I love how they turned out. I used the same design for all four cards and just switched up the colors. It's how I like to do mass production. All products will be linked below in the linkdeli. Thank-you for supporting me with my affiliate links (at no charge to you).

I started with the Hatbox Floral image and colored it up with my Copic markers. I used the Hatbox Floral Confetti Cuts to cut it out and then set them each aside. I then got busy die cutting the Thanks & Hello Word Duo Confetti Cuts. I cut a few layers of the word, once in the Sweet Stripes paper and then again with some premium Polar White card stock. I glued the layers together to add some dimension to my card. I stamped a sentiment from Word Up with Midnight ink along the bottom to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Picket Fence Studios/ Gina K/ My Sweet Petunia Collaborative Blog Hop/ GIVEAWAY

Hello stamping friends! it's the Trifecta of Friends Blog Hop. It I am so excited to be posting today and sharing two cards with some fabulous Gina K Designs products. I have been a long time fan of all things Gina K, but admit I have not created much with them. It's so hard to squeeze in crafty time with other companies outside of the ones I design for. So, I was over the moon when this collaborative blog hop was announced. Picket Fence Studios has team up with Gina K and My Sweet Petunia for a fun and inspirational blog hop. I hope you'll join me.

There is a super generous giveaway. You'll want to leave comments along the hop for a chance to win.
All three companies will be giving away a $50 Gift Card to their shops!!
So there will be 3 winners!

Winners will be announced by June 7!

I have two cards to share today. On both cards, and all my cards really, I use the Mini Misti to stamp my images. The MISTI changed my stamping life. I hope you enjoy them. I used the leaf images from Elegant Asters stamp set stamped in Intense Black ink. I love the crisp black on white leaves and sentiment from the same set.

I stamped the butterfly from Elegant Asters and colored it up with rainbow colors with my copic markers. I used the coordinating Elegant Asters dies to cut it out and then popped it up along the bottom of my card for a great pop of color. I mounted the finished panel onto a top folding A2 Sea Glass card base. I am gifting this to my niece for a graduation card. I think the sentiment is perfect.

My next card uses the floral images from Elegant Asters and I I masked off the flowers to tuck in the leaf images. I used my Zig Clean Color Brush markers to water color up the images.

I added in some colored splatters to the background and then used the Hello word die to cut out three layers of midnight card stock and adhere them together for some good dimension on my card. I mounted the finished panel onto a Sweet Mango panel and then added it to a Premium Polar White card base This color combo and pretty soft water coloring just makes me smile.

Here is the list of those hopping with us today. Be sure to stop by and leave comments for a chance to win one of three $50 gift certificates, one for each company represented today.

Color Throwdown 545-Dear Mom

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! Welcome to Color Throwdown Challenge #545!  Jodi is here with us this week, and she picked some gorgeous colors to work with! Raspberry, Lavender, Green and Kraft are our colors this week, and this combination makes me so happy! Please feel free to incorporate any neutrals into your design!

If you upload your creation to a public gallery, please use the key wordsCTD545, and please use #ctd545 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please use a direct link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog.  All of the rules are in the right sidebar, so check them out if you're unsure.  And no digital designs will be allowed - only digital images that are printed off and colored!

I had my Zig Clear Color Brush markers out on my desk and I decided this gorgeous giant Botan Peony from Picket Fence Studios needed to be water colored. I stamped the image with the Intense Black ink and then enjoyed some water coloring.

The sentiment was stamped onto some Sand card stock. It's from the new sentiment set called, The Best Mom I know
