Lil' Inker Designs and 25 Days of Christmas Tags

hey, hey! I am a little late, but I still made it! So excited to join the Lil' Inker Design team and Tracy's 25 Days of Christmas Tags today. I used one stamp set and one die to make a trio of tags. I'm all about easy peasy during the holiday hustle and bussel.

I started by cutting out three of the Silly Stitched Squares tags. I then inked up one of the poinsettia images from my favorite set from this last release, Festive Florals. I stamped the sentiment in the center with Midnight ink.

I wanted to use some non-traditional holiday colors on my tags, so I pulled out a dusty Heathered purple color and stamped the holly leaves on this tag. I used the pretty script sentiment this time.

On the final tag, I used the berries and some greenery and inked these around the edges. You'll see I used some silver mini sequins and tied on some striped twine to all three.

Don't forget there is a gift certificate to Lil' Inker Designs up for grabs! Stop by Tracey's blog to read the details of how to qualify!

today we are sharing projects with these two sets, Sno Awesome & Kitchen Love. I'll kick today off with my Sno Awesome card. I just love the concept of this set, and the bits and pieces are so fun to work with. I did some paper piecing with the gorgeous new papers, Cheerful & Kind. So I stamped the images twice, once onto the pattern papers I chose and then again onto  Premium Polar White card stock. I used the Sno Awesome Confetti Cuts to cut out the white stamped images and then fussy cut the pattern paper pieces. After I ran the white images thru my die cut machine with the dies, I adhered the matching pattern paper pieces to them. Always a fun technique and I always love how it looks once you finish.

I used some glittery paper to cut the smaller frame with the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts and stamped the Sno Awesome sentiment on the inside.  I added it all to a Premium Polar White card stock card base.

My next card is the Kitchen Love. I stamped the images from Kitchen Love with Avocado ink onto Avocado card stock. I then stamped three of the images with copic friendly ink and colored in the images. I used the Kitchen Love Confetti Cuts to cut them out.

I added them to a rectangle of vellum card stock and stamped a Kitched Love sentiment along the bottom. I tucked in a strip of Cheerful & Kind paper in the background and tied on some twine. I added a touch of sparkle with a few silver mini sequins.

Countdown to Confetti-November Release Day 1

Welcome to a fun filled four days with the Fetti Crew! It's the kick off to the Reverse Confetti
November Release!! The fun starts today and we will have sneak peeks of all the fabulous new products releasing on the 8th! We are so glad you are here!  There is so much to see....stamps, Confetti Cuts, papers.....we're getting crafty for some hoiday & winter  fun! Today we are showing off Christmas Cheer, Cool Friends, and Sweet Holiday. It's no secret that I love line art images. These are fabulous and I really enjoyed coloring them in. I'll start off with Cool Friends. I just adore these snow fellas. I stamped the images onto Cloud White card stock with Midnight ink and used my Zig Clear Colored Brush markers to color them up.

I am totally crushing on the new designer papers, Cheerful & Kind and the awesome new frames, Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts. I cut the largest one in Mist card stock and added a Premiun Polar White hill from Edgers Confetti Cuts. The sentiment was stamped in Rose ink onto a Layered Banner Duo Confetti Cut

I added touches of snow with the help of some chunky clear glitter. It is such a fun detail.

Next up is the darling ginger bread house image from Sweet Holiday stamp set. I stamped it onto some copic friendly paper and then cut it out with the matching Sweet Holiday Confetti Cuts. I also added a few of the smaller detail images. I used my copics to color them up and set them aside.

I sponged on some distress ink onto watercolor paper and gave the background a splattering of coordinating ink colors, water and Calico Shimmer for a touch if sheen. Some strips of Cheerful & Kind paper and a sentiment from Sweet Holiday white embossed onto a Flowers for Mom Confetti cut in Midnight card stock.

Finally today, I couldn't wait to show off this sweet little elf boy from Christmas Cheer. I love that there is a boy and girl elf in the set. I sneak peeked the girl on my tag in yesterday's post. Check it out, if you missed it. I colored him up with copics, along with a few of the other little scene building images and cut them out with the Christmas Cheer Confetti Cuts.

I used more (seeeee....I told you I was in love with these papers. I can't stop using them) of the Cheerful & Kind papers in the background and layered on a vellum Scallop Stripe Panel. I stamped the Christmas Cheer sentiment in Midnight ink onto a Premium Polar White Tall Tags Confetti cut and then attached my images. A little striped twine completed the card.

25 Days of Christmas Tags with Reverse Confetti

It's that time again and I am so excited. It's always exciting to be a part of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags

I'm joining the fun today with Reverse Confetti (and psssst....there's a little sneaky peek from the upcoming release). This sweet little elf girl is from a new stamp set called Christmas Cheer. It will be available to purchase on October 8.

I used the sweet scalloped Round Top Tag Confetti Cut to cut out the pretty pink pattern paper from the new Cheerful & Kind 6x6 paper pack. The back drop, little rounded rectangle is cut with Lime Green card stock and I used a sentiment from Christmas Cheer to add a little greeting to the bottom. I finished the tag off with a little solid twine and a trio of silver sequins.

Be sure to visit Tracey's blog for all the hop details.
And join the Reverse Confetti crew, starting tomorrow for our Count down to Confetti.

Thanks for much for stopping by today!

Color Throwdown 467-Get Well Wreath

Hi, everyone!  It’s Lori is our hostess for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge.  The colors from this week's inspiration photo are red, teal, and green.  The colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals along with the challenge colors.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD467 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd467 and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.  One last detail to remember, no digital designs.  Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I used the beautiful Fall For You wreath to show off the "get well soon" sentiment from Sentiment Essentials. With this stamp set it is best to cut out the wreath with the Fall For You Confetti Cuts first. I stamped the wreath in Midnight ink onto Cloud White card stock and then, because  you can water color on them I used my Zig Clear Color brush markers to add the color.

In the background I used the Eyelet Cover Panel Confetti Cut. I left in all the pieces to mimic the quilted pattern in the inspiration photo. I added the green color from the challenge with a strip of Very Merry designer paper. I finished the card off with some twine and a little Stickles glitter on the red berries.

For more inspiration, check out the other design team members' creations below, and get inky! We can't wait to see what you come up with this week.
