à la mode....Key to My Heart!

It's day two of our à la mode teasers and this is another set you won't want to miss out on. She's called Key to My Heart and you can add her to your cart tonight with the VIP kit.

These fun, flirty and fabulous girls:
  • Each set is produced in the USA using the highest quality rubber, with the deepest etch possible.
  • Each image and sentiment is backed on cling foam and scroll cut, making it ready for stamping right out of the bag!
  • Packaged in a clear hang bag, we've also provided the ideal storage solution by including a thick laminated header card in each set that can be used to store the stamp set, in its entirety, after purchase.
I used a great Go-to-Sketch from PaperCrafts magazine and some yummy My Mind's Eye dp (Animal Crackers girl line) and I just couldn't resist some warm fuzzy hearts cut with MFT felt and Hearts A Plenty die-namics. I colored this cutie on X-Press Blending cs with copics and pieced her dress with some coordinating dp. She finished off with a sweet bakers twine bow and key charm!
Kim's Blog has the full list of teaser posts today. Stop by around 11 am (EST) to check it out! Then it's back here tonight for the VIP blog hop!

a little Late to H{ippity} Hop!

****please scroll down for my MFT à la mode post****
I was away all weekend, and was not prepared for this week as I wanted to be. So I'm late to
H{ippity} hop today. Oh, well! I think these tags will make up for it. lol! I'm putting on some finishing touches to teacher gifts and these personalized tags were just the right touch. I used some left over chipboard letters to match each teacher, a felt snow flake (MFT snowflake die-namic), and these {ippity} stamps twill, twine, and buttons to pull these tags together. I spent 20 mintues to do them both-not too bad! See you tomorrow. Check out the {ippity} blog for the full line up for inspiration today.

à la mode Monday.....Cheers!

We've got new stamps coming, tomorrow night! It's almost VIP time and that means it's also time for the release of 2 new à la modes! Today we get to give you some looksies at the the super cute party girl from the set, Cheers! It's just in time for the New Year celebrations and any other event you'll be celebrating this year. I actaully did her up for a gifty to give to my girlfriend at her Girls Only Holiday party!!! I knew she would look fabulous on a tag for a bottle of the bubbly. I used some black ruffled ribbon and the small scallop die-namics to do her up right. I had fun coloring her with copics and adding some crystal stickles glitter to her glass of bubbly!

After I finished that, I thought it would only be fitting to add a little gift card with the bottle of bubbly. So I used the same papers and ribbon and added the Cheers! sentiment right next to a rolled rose die-namics flower.
Make sure you hop on over to Kim's blog at 11 am (EST) for the full line up of teaser posts today. Tomorrow we've got another à la mode to share AND tomorrow night is the VIP! You don't want to miss it!

Inspired by Love

I didn't get a chance to ink up the Inspired by Love set last week during our Teaser posts, but I was dying to make something with it. It is such a beautiful set. Have you seen it? Check it out and while you are there, note....the DECORATIVE DOILY DIE-NAMIC is back in stock! I used that here today, too. What do you think about the grey, black and turquoise color combo? I thought it was a fresh change from the typical red, black and white lovie cards you'll be seeing soon. I'm so excited about the music score background, it's sweet. Here's the inside. Don't you adore that sentiment-it's so pretty and elegant! So is the matching faux crochet border. It's round 1 of Christmas for us this weekend. We get to celebrate with my family AND it's supposed to snow. Should really feel like Christmas. Hugs and have a safe weekend.

It's a Hip Hop Thursday!

I'm back today with lots of hip hop fun! There is a hip hop theme today.....at first I didn't think followed it. I thought I totally forgot about it, BUT turns out I didn't. The theme was to create quick holiday gifts. I did a frame, it would make the perfect gift! Yeah, me!

I have two projects today with the fun and fabulous {ippity} new release stamps! Did you get yours yet??? What are you waiting for???? I made this sweet little frame-it's an altered wooden frame from Micheal's. It was only a $1-LOVE♥ THAT!
You can read all about how I made it on the {ippity} blog. I'm still thinking about what photo I will add to it. I'm sure it will be of the boys! I really love the new Here and Now set. I think I said it on release day, but I'll say it again....that little text heart and the jumbo ticket are soooo sweet! Here's a close up of the stamped images. I also snuck in a little Book It, can you spy it??
Then I used this week's Hip Hop sketch for this card. I used the same papers, Indie Girl along with the How You Doin' set.

Maria is up next! Click the button and see what fabulousness she has for you today!

MFT Greatest Hits

Welcome! It's our monthly MFT Greatest Hits post. This month the à la modes are in the spotlight! They are still fairly new to the MFT Boutique, but there are PLENTY to choose from. Some of the DT has decided to show them off, just in case you missed any! You can see all that are available HERE in the store. There are a few out of stock (I don't think Kim can keep them in the store...they sell out FAST each time she stocks them....if you don't see them, keep checking they'll be back in soon!).
I used the sweet, sweet Birthday Girl à la mode.
If you aren't familiar with these cuties, Here's the 411 on these fun, flirty and fabulous girls:

  • Each set is produced in the USA using the highest quality rubber, with the deepest etch possible.
  • Each image and sentiment is backed on cling foam and scroll cut, making it ready for stamping right out of the bag!
  • Packaged in a clear hang bag, we've also provided the ideal storage solution by including a thick laminated header card in each set that can be used to store the stamp set, in its entirety, after purchase.
And here's my card. It's a little different from my usual style, I used bright colors with the pink. I think it turned out so fun and festive for a birthday card. I was in the mood for rolled flowers, so I used the rolled flower die-namic to cut some Blue Raspberry cs and created these sweet flowers. I also wanted to play up the polka dots from the distress dots dp and the NEW dainty dots die-namic was the perfect accent!
oh, and the Birthday Girl is stamped on Copic X-press Blending cs. I was nervous to give this a try since I feel like I've got my copic blending figured out with what I've previously been using AND I'm happy to report-I think I LOVE this new paper. It's so smooth, and it really does allow me to blend eaily AND I know I'm using a lot less ink!!! A few MFT adornments (using up some of my glittered garnishes) complete the look!
MFT ♥loves♥ to spoil our customers and this week is no exception. Christmas has come early for YOU. From December 7 though December 9, our MFT Santa will be slipping a little something extra into your "stocking". With each order of $25 or more (not including tax or shipping) placed during the promotion period, you will receive a FREE surprise gift with your order. We have a ton of gifts under the tree, and we'll pick one out just for you. It could be a stamp set, ribbon, or other crafty product. It'll be a surprise, so please don't send Santa a list. *wink*
Check out Kim's blog around 11 am for the full list of participants today!
