I am on a kick, making book marks and tags. Love how quick and easy they are, plus it's fun to see how much little details you can squeeze on to them. This week's TSG challenge is to make a book mark.

Wow! I stamped, just to stamp today. Feels good. There were quite a few stamp sets I've been wanting to use and a pile of challenges to tackle. Did a little of both. Of course you'll be seeing a stream of them here and there as I spread them out between DT work. This one is for TCP color combo challenge from last week. It was right up my ally with Kraft as one of the base colors. Sketch is one of Jen Del Muro's. I love them, but never find the time to fit them in. I made sure I used it this week! I decided to get an early start on my neice's birthday gift. Since my sister was just here, I was able to send some family gifts home with her to deliver for me. Saved me some shipping! Samantha is turning 11 and I thought this sentiment was perfect for her. I had some new Fancy Pants dp that I pieced her up with. I played up the purple in the dp, and was able to add a cute ruffled ribbon (high style collection) along with some MFT twill.

The inside of the card I made into a little pocket, which holds a personalized book mark for her. I used the new Wendy Uppercase Alphabet mini set to spell her name (she goes by SAM alot, and it fit on the bookmark better). Did you know that Wendy is the name of the MFT font used on many of the MFT sets. I can't tell you how excited I am to finally have an alphabet set in this FONT! YEAH! It's another great perk of getting this VIP kit-a Free mini kit! I also added a small scalloped edge and a felt flower with a Earth Girl wooded button. I'm thinking I need to make myself one of these bookmarks! I think it turned out quite cute!

MFT- à la mode sneak peek #2- Time To Celebrate

So whatcha think??? Aren't the à la modes just the cutest???? I think they are a fabulous addition to the MFT boutique. Today I get to show you another great celebration stamp set. I honestly believe you cannot have too many birthday or celebration sets. For one, there are just too many great ones out there, and two, there will always be reasons to celebrate!

This one's a little busy with all the designer paper I used, but I think the kraft kind of mellows it out. Plus I love the banner! Yep, had to squeeze in the Banner Day die-namics die with this one. Always good to have a banner for any celebration!

MFT- à la mode Sneak Peek-Peace

What a fabulous weekend. My sister, her girls, and her new hubby were in town and we had a great time. Lots of laughs, lots of good food, drinks, and just fun family time! Love that. Hopefully you all enjoyed your weekend. We'll continue the goodness with a little My Favorite Things sneaky peek. Two more à la mode stamp sets will be available for purchase tomorrow, Aug.17th during the VIP Hop! It's going to be soooo groovy! (sorry counldn't resist! haha)

She's a cutie! There are some fun sentiments included with this great set. Remember, the à la modes are cling mount rubber-high quality, and stamp like a dream! I colored her with copics, cut a groovy batch of MFT felt flowers with the new Flower & leaf trio die-namics die. Tied it all up with some MFT twill. Yeah, pretty much can't stop using this stuff. It's pretty great! The button is from the Scoop 'o button summer collection. I even did up the inside. You can't write on espresso card stock, so you have to line it with something lighter. It's just easier and prettier to make it all matchy, matchy! More felt flowers, the Flower Power sentiment, and some baby braddies.

I saved two samples to share with you today. I hope you don't get sick of seeing the Book It stamp. I looooove it. I made it look like a real library card, by adding the spiral punched edge to the top. I paired it with the fabulous Life is The Journey.

Then I used two sets for this card-You Deserve and Totally Happy. These two sets work great together. I almost thought they were 1 set. So if you order one, make sure you order the other. I'm just sayin'.....

It's another simple layout, but I think it makes a statement. Huh! Funny thing is I made these two cards almost a week a part and they have similar colors. I didn't even plan that for today's post. It just happened. I'm so diggin' that fence and bird image.
