Sunshiney Day!

How about this for a Happy card??? I hope this makes you smile as much as it does me. I'm in love with the new MFT die-namics dies. The clouds were an easy sell for me and now a sweet sun to accompany it! Ca-UTE!!!! I got my new goodies today and couldn' t wait to make a card with them. Talk about FAST shipping!I kept this very CAS, letting the dies speak for themselves. The sentiment is also by MFT, it's from one the Pure Innocence sweeties (she must be out of stock, I can't find the name-it's the one with the girl reaching for the butterfly. Kim's really good about getting these back in stock. So hang in there. It'll be back soon, I'm sure). Paper is Oct. Afternoon-fly a kite and ribbon is Summer Sunrise by PTI. See you tomorrow for a pink felt creation.

Plan for A Miracle-Post no. 2

***This is post no. 2 for today-please scroll down to see my
There She Goes Challenge card***

I owe this card to Karen. She made an awesome card last week with this sentiment, and sad to say, I didn't know where this sentiment had come from. Yes, I'm ashamed to admit this! BUT, I was super excited to find out it was part of the Delightful Little Things

set from Ippity. I'm sure I glanced at it when I first got my set and just never paid much attention to it. It's sad I know, and I guess a negative to having so many stamps, LOL! You know, too many stamps, so little time! I'm happy to say I inked it up and made sure I gave some of my other neglected stamps a once over this weekend, too. Some more under-loved images were made happy this weekend! This week's IHHC27 challenge is to use fabric or canvas on your creations this week. Thanks Eva for the great challenge. And this also happens to fit the Moxie Fab-Fun With Fabric Challenge. Have you seen it? If you work quick you have till midnight tonight to get yours in.
I pulled out a swatch, added some stitching and left the edges raw! I just love using fabric like pattern paper-adding an extra pop of texture is just what this card needed!

I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch 72. I changed up the rounded element for a chipboard butterfly that I stamped with a Bit of Burlap and finished off with a button! I also used my own Tuesday Tip from last week and stamped the sentiment on designer paper. Hope you like it! Be sure to stop by the Ippity blog for the full line up for participants.

Post no. 1-TSG sketch challenge

Jodi is up for this week's Trendsetter of the Week. She came up with a great sketch for us to use. See all the details over on the TSG blog. Here's my take on it. I pulled out some retired SU papers and used the beautiful new set, just release, By the Sea! I just LOVE this sentiment, "the voice of the sea, speaks to the SOUL."
You can play along and win a TSG gift certificate. To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card using the provided sketch, then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (May 14th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

Some Jillibean and TSG

It's another boy birthday card today. This one is full of cute Jillibean Soup dp and a great TSG stamp. The other week I shared the lightning bolt card from the ROFL Taglines set. Today I'm showing you the awesome car that is included in the set. This image is the main reason I got this set, but I'm finding I love it all.
This has been a go-to layout for me lately. I love how the ribbon ties off to the side. I also added a birthday sentiment from Make a Wish. The dp is from the New England Clam Chowder line by Jillibean Soup.
Also, thought I'd let you know that I am no longer on the DT for Limelight Papercrafts. It was a hard desicion to make and I was sad to give it up, but crafting time is tight for me these days and something had to give. I can't say enough how much I love that store and the people behind it (Mandy, you rock!).

Happy for Today!

Oh, boy, this week is getting away from me. It's been busy and the Holiday threw me off, but now I can smile, because that's what Thursday's do-make me smile. It's a day full of {ippity} and Unity goodness! I used my sweet little birdie from Fall For You, he makes me smile too. The sketch is one of Jen Del Muro's from back in May.
I'll be keeping chit chat to a minimum these next few weeks. Lots going on and the summer schedule has thrown me for a loop. It's all good! I've got lots of craftiness to share.

Be sure to leave a comment on the {ippity} blog for a chance at a prize, AND don't miss the fun in the Unity forum. I'm giving away a prize around 6pm (MT). Come join the fun. Off you go to see what fabulousness Maria has for you today.

One Hot Mama

It's time for another MFT release (oh, boy....can't wait to order the new die-namic dies!!!) and that means it's another Guest Deisgner Challenge. This month we were challenged to make a Some Like it Hot card. I went with the cute and fun Who's that Girl set, Baby Bump and my fave sentiment from the set-One Hot Mama! I used a sizzlin' hot color combo-orange zest, Hawaiian Shore, and a touch of black. Check out the details of the MFT Guest Designer Contest HERE. Looks like you have until tonight to get in your entries! Good Luck!

Memorial Day H{ippity} Hop!

It's Memorial Day here in the US. It's a day for us to recognize and honor all those that serve and have served in the Military and fight hard to keep us all safe. In honor of that, Kelly's H{ippity} Hop challenge this week is to make a card or two to send to Operation Write Home. You can read about all the details here. It's a great organization and we would be so proud to have you join us in sending in some cards for the troops. There are a few guidelines, so make sure you read through them before sending in your cards.

I whipped up 2 quick cards Friday night and I'm sending them in to OWH. It's another round of CAS for me, but I think the color combos are fun. Plus they use some of my favorite images from Life's Little Moments.
I made a birthday card and then a lovey card. Cards are the the same, I just changed up the stamps a bit. The love quote comes from A Moment in Time.
You can buy Ippity HERE!
Stop by the ippity blog for the full line up!
