Two Deconstructing Sketches

So last week, I was working on The Deconstructing Sketch 117, and then DS118 was posted. So after I finished the first one, I got busy on the current sketch. I've got them both for you today.

I pulled out one of the first sentiment stamp sets released by  Reverse Confetti . This one is called I Like You. It's got a great mix of fonts and soooo many ways to mix and match the words to create your own custom greeting.

The Cut & Paste papers from MME were my starting point (along with the sketch-DS117)  for this card. I inked up my words with some colors that coordinated with the papers, really playing up the Navy. I am so happy that this color is trending this fall.

I used MFT Kraft and Berrylicious along with a few SU colors in Crisp Cantaloupe and Midnight Muse.  The dots were stamped with MFT Whip Cream pigment ink.

Following the sketch, I tucked in a sweet Layered Rose topped with a Nightshift blue button. Two Fuse Green Royal Leaves leaves finish the custom embellishment.

This one is the current Deconstructing Sketch 118. I loved the layers and the square scalloped edge.

I kept it fairly simple and stamped one of the fun doodle quotes from the new MFT stamp set, Sunny Day Doodles-Celebrate Life, in Tangy Orange ink. I then pieced up a few of those sweet hearts. I tied on a stitched ribbon and added some machine stitching.

You can find each of the sketches HERE. Thanks for stopping by today.
