Hang on....this is a longer, than usual post from me. Let's start with Good Fortune. The papers from Authentique's freebird line, had a bit of an Asain feel to me, so that was my starting point. I also really wanted to use the new Fringed Perennial, and as I was making my flowers I realized that half of one of the fringed centers would make a perfect little fan for my Good Fortune girl. Pretty clever, huh?!
I've done up the inside to match. I love doing this, especially when I have a busier than usual card front. I added the Good Fortune sentiment to the outside on one of the cute new mini tab foursome die-namics. And then on the inside I used the full sentiment......"wishing you good fortune". I also tucked in a little teeeny scallop border made with the small scallop border die-namic. Another fringed perennial and a few rhinestones.
How about a close up of some of the flower details. The petals have these amazing score lines on them. The fringed centers are so fun to make, too.
Since I was using the beautiful new kraft line of My Minds Eye papers, I decided to put my copics away and do a little watercoloring. Blending is similar, but requires a different touch. I do think I'm a better water colorer, since I've started with my copics.
I cut my card a little skinnier (only 3.75 inches wide) so I could have the new Mix & Match Banner pieces hang off the edge a little bit and still fit into a regular A2 envie, if I choose to. You've seen the By the Letters fit nicely on the banner bits, and I wanted you to see that the By the Numbers do, too! Another little scallop edge, some stitching, and twill finish this one off.
Moving right along......how about a snowman cutie? I am falling fast for this new line of snowmen....Frosty is just darling. He's Frosty & Fabulous! This just might be my FAVE card of mine from this release.
I did him (or her?) up in pink with the new Loves Me papers by MME. More scallops (medium), a few hearts (homespun birdhouse and Hearts a Plenty) and that gorgeous button. Yep, that's MME, too.....thanks to Megan and Jody, I had to score me some of those. ha!
I cut up my sentiment and added it to one of the Mix & Match Banner Pieces.
I couldn't help it....I did the inside of this one, too. Most of the same elements, but this time I carried over the snow theme with the Let It Snow snowflake die-namics. I am soooo happy for those dies and I plan to use a ton more of them through out the rest of the winter.
Okay....that's enough from me for today. Thanks for sticking with me.

ReplyDeleteThe latest model of forklifts was introduced by Toyota in 1956. When starting a business it is a good idea to keep costs at a minimum until you start making money to reinvest in your business. Finding the right forklift denotes that you to seek the services of a licensed forklift driver; more and more forklift rental companies do offer the services of their in-house, licensed forklift drivers at an additional cost. 13.653
