MFT January Teaser Time {hearts and stitches}

Welcome! It's time again for another fun filled week with the My Favorite Things team as we share our teasers with the new products that will be releasing on January 8. Are you ready for some fun?? True to MFT style, there are LOTS and lots of stamps, Die-namics and even a few Replenishments coming your way :)

We kick of the January Teasers with some new Lisa Johnson stamps.  Love her style, it's so fun to work with.  If you loved her Stocking set, you're gonna LOOOOVE this month's Hearts. Same great style and fonts....everything you need for all your LOVEY projects you'll be making this year. The Two sets are called:Homespun Hearts; Hearts and Stitches.

First up, a lovey card using the HOMESPUN HEARTS STAMP SET and a couple of new Die-namics. I pulled some fun patterns from the Crate Paper-Sleigh Ride paper pack and paired them up with some MFT cardstock (Sno Cone, Kraft, and Sweet Tooth). 

The fun, heart flower is all stamped with the HOMESPUN HEARTS set, and I used the RUSTIC HEARTS DIE-NAMICS.  Trust me, you'll WANT this Die-namics. It coordinates with the hearts in Homespun Hearts, but they are also fun and unique shapes to use on their own. You can never have too many hearts in your stamping collection. 

That heart border is new, too. It's called LAYERED HEARTS BORDER and it's another Must have! You get three looks in 1 Die-namics set. Love that. 

Check out the green (Jellybean Green MFT Premium dye ink) zig zag along the bottom of my main panel.  That's a stamp!! It's included in the new background set, Lisa designed-HEARTS AND STITCHES.  I stamped the sentiment with Wild Cherry ink. The stem is stamped in the new Kraft Premium Dye ink. 

.....AND speaking of NEW  ink.....there are 3 new colors being released this month. I am OVER the MOON about them.....Kraft, Black Licorice AND Sno Cone!!!! I used the kraft and Sno Cone below. 

I've always been a fan of pillow boxes, they are a fun way to give a little treat. MFT will be adding this new Die-namics to the boutique next week. It's a great shape, a little shorter and wider than the other pillow box dies I have seen.  It's called SQUARE PILLOW BOX DIE-NAMICS. 

I made three (one for each of my boys!) and stuffed them with some Lemon Heads. After I cut out the Square Pillow Box I used the HEARTS AND STITCHES stamp set to dress up the backgrounds. 

Here you can see I used the hearts and dots pattern stamped in Sno Cone Premium Dye ink onto Sno Cone cs (in the background you can see the Kraft one stamped in Sno Cone ink). 

I wrapped each one with a LAYERED HEART BORDER, added a custom tag, stamped with images from the HOMESPUN HEARTS STAMP SET, and then tied on the tag with some Maraschino Twine.

 On this one, you can see another new Die-namics.....one that I have been waiting for.....HEARTS STAX!!!  I added another pop of color with some Lemon Drop ink. 

 Here is the one I made with a Traditional Tags Stax Die-nnamics. I just love that little XOXO stamp. 

 And on this one I added a Decorative Circle Stax tag.  You also get a look at the gorgeous new Kraft colored ink.....SWOON!!!!
