Day5-MFT Teasers

Don't you just love the à la modes??? I do. Each month they get better and better. We're adding two more to the line up this month and you're going to fall in love: à la modes - Polished to Perfection, 80's Girl.


I used 80's Girl and some of my funky papers. The bright colors were perfect with her. The sketch is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch. In place of the tag element from the sketch, I used the new DESIGNER LABELS 4 STAX DIE-NAMICS. 

Here is a close up of the girl all colored up.  I made used lots of bright colors for her outfit and even added a touch of Crystal Effects to her ear rings and bracelet to make them look like those big chunky jewelry pieces we wore back then (well, I was young in the 80's, but I know and love the era!). 

I may have mixed up my time periods a bit, but I did think the PEACE SIGN DIE-NAMICS  along with this flower from the FLOWER AND LEAF TRIO DIE-NAMICS were great accents to my card. 

How about a pretty inside to match. I added more of the same flowers, and cut another piece of the DESIGNER LABELS 4 STAX to hold my sentiment. Look along the bottom, too.....I added a pretty WAVY EDGE  in MFT Black card stock. 

I also used Gumdrop Green and Sweet tooth card stock on this card. You can see all the MFT card stock colors HERE! :)
