. . . . .
It's my favorite day during release week. I am very partial to all things Dawn Machel. This month there are three adorable sets,  you are going to flip over: Lemonade Stand, Hippo Pool Party, and Let's Shellabrate. I have two to share today.
first up is Lemonade Stand. I started with some ink smooshing of Squeezed Lemonade distress ink for my background. Once it was dry I gave it a splattering of Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin ink. I then got busy coloring up with sweet little scene pieces. I did a little paper piecing with a fun polka dotted pattern from the Sun & Sea 6x6 paper pad

The colored pieces were cut out with the Lemonade Stand Confetti Cuts and then set aside while I stamped out the sentiment in Midnight ink onto a strip of Sand card stock. I added in a duo of clouds from the Over the Rainbow Confetti Cuts. All the bright sunny yellow just makes me happy.

My next card shows off a rainbow of colors with the Hippo Pool Party stamp set. I did some ink blending with Bumblebee ink and Orange Fizz along the top and Sand ink along the bottom for some sand.

I couldn't decide which images to use, so I picked them all. I colored them with Copics and and then cut them out with Hippo Pool Party Confetti Cuts. I added the fun Pool Confetti Cuts. I cut it twice, in mist and Stone cardstock. Oh, and check out the sweet hippo's swim suit....I paper pieced it with the cool chevron pattern from Sun & Sea paper pad.

I stamped the start of the sentiment at the top of the card with Midnight ink and added some Polar white clouds from Over the Rainbow again. I finished the birthday greeting along the bottom of the card.

Here is a list of team members sharing projects today!

See you back here tomorrow.
