Today we are jumping in with these two fun and playful  sets, Ice Cream Social & Party Animals! Ohemgeeeee! I can't tell you how much I looooove this ellie! He is sooo cute and easy to color up. I used some grey tone (C1, C3, C4) Copic markers and then decided to do a little fun paper piecing. That ear, was just asking for it and the new beautiful paper pad, Sweet Stripes, was the perfect fit!

I guess it's only fair to tell you know, this release from me is ink blending HEAVY. I think most of my cards I did some ink blending to create my backgrounds or custom stencil work. I was struggling to blend the RC inks and I was determined to make them work....well, with a little more practice and a lot of patience (and my favorite new Life Changing Blending Brushes) I had success!! Here it is simple background with Premium Polar White card stock and Bumblebee ink. I used a strip of blue painters tape to create a line for my ground. After I blended on the yellow ink, I moved the tape up and blended on some Stone and a touch of Sand ink. I added in some dots with my copics to give a bit of texture (AKA dirt/stones).

I stamped the sentiment from Party Animals in Midnight ink and added the sweet little Star Balloon image from the same set and used the coordinating Party Animals Confetti Cuts to cut them out.

Up next is a sweet birthday card with another new new set called Ice Cream Social. This bun is my favorite, but there are many other sweet little critters to choose from. I colored him up with Copics and added him to the top of a new Confetti Cut duo, Party & Celebrate. I cut it three time from three different Sweet Stripes colors and alternated the colors to make an ombre of letters.

Don't worry....you'll see how I didn't let the negative space go to waste....I'll be sharing that later this week. I finished off the sentiment with a greeting from the Ice Cream Social set in Midnight ink. I added a duo of card stock strips in Navy and RC Aqua.

Here is a list of team members sharing projects today!

Thanks for stopping by today. See you here tomorrow.... same time, same place.
