Reverse Confetti/ Thank You

So today was the last day of school for us here in Cincinnati. It also marked the end of an era for our house. It was the last of my kiddos to finish 6th grade in the elementary school we have been at for years. It's been 12 years with kids in that building. It is filled with so many amazing teachers, doing amazing things to ready our kids for the Junior High. It was a bittersweet day.

I created some thank-yous for N's teachers. I combined a handful of Reverse Confetti products. I love how they turned out. I used the same design for all four cards and just switched up the colors. It's how I like to do mass production. All products will be linked below in the linkdeli. Thank-you for supporting me with my affiliate links (at no charge to you).

I started with the Hatbox Floral image and colored it up with my Copic markers. I used the Hatbox Floral Confetti Cuts to cut it out and then set them each aside. I then got busy die cutting the Thanks & Hello Word Duo Confetti Cuts. I cut a few layers of the word, once in the Sweet Stripes paper and then again with some premium Polar White card stock. I glued the layers together to add some dimension to my card. I stamped a sentiment from Word Up with Midnight ink along the bottom to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Picket Fence Studios/ Gina K/ My Sweet Petunia Collaborative Blog Hop/ GIVEAWAY

Hello stamping friends! it's the Trifecta of Friends Blog Hop. It I am so excited to be posting today and sharing two cards with some fabulous Gina K Designs products. I have been a long time fan of all things Gina K, but admit I have not created much with them. It's so hard to squeeze in crafty time with other companies outside of the ones I design for. So, I was over the moon when this collaborative blog hop was announced. Picket Fence Studios has team up with Gina K and My Sweet Petunia for a fun and inspirational blog hop. I hope you'll join me.

There is a super generous giveaway. You'll want to leave comments along the hop for a chance to win.
All three companies will be giving away a $50 Gift Card to their shops!!
So there will be 3 winners!

Winners will be announced by June 7!

I have two cards to share today. On both cards, and all my cards really, I use the Mini Misti to stamp my images. The MISTI changed my stamping life. I hope you enjoy them. I used the leaf images from Elegant Asters stamp set stamped in Intense Black ink. I love the crisp black on white leaves and sentiment from the same set.

I stamped the butterfly from Elegant Asters and colored it up with rainbow colors with my copic markers. I used the coordinating Elegant Asters dies to cut it out and then popped it up along the bottom of my card for a great pop of color. I mounted the finished panel onto a top folding A2 Sea Glass card base. I am gifting this to my niece for a graduation card. I think the sentiment is perfect.

My next card uses the floral images from Elegant Asters and I I masked off the flowers to tuck in the leaf images. I used my Zig Clean Color Brush markers to water color up the images.

I added in some colored splatters to the background and then used the Hello word die to cut out three layers of midnight card stock and adhere them together for some good dimension on my card. I mounted the finished panel onto a Sweet Mango panel and then added it to a Premium Polar White card base This color combo and pretty soft water coloring just makes me smile.

Here is the list of those hopping with us today. Be sure to stop by and leave comments for a chance to win one of three $50 gift certificates, one for each company represented today.

Color Throwdown 544- Celebrate

Hi everyone, this week Wanda is pinch hitting for Amy Rohl who had a mishap that will require some time off from the CTD duties (wishing you a quick recovery, Amy!). Amy had already picked this wonderful color combo of coral, aqua and navy--and any other neutrals you need to complete your design.

If you upload your creation to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD544, and please use #ctd544 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please use a direct link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog.  All of the rules are in the right sidebar, so check them out if you're unsure.  And no digital designs will be allowed - only digital images that are printed off and colored.

Last week I was on death's door. Well, not really, but I did have Strep throat and it was horrible. So, sadly, I missed out on the challenge. I didn't want to miss another one and I loved these colors. I thought about using a whale, but I went with another large mammal, this adorable ellie from Reverse Confetti. It's called Party Animal and it's adorable.  I colored him up with some Copic markers in aqua colors. One of my favorite things about stamping and creating with paper....you can make it anything you want. I then used the Party Animal Confetti Cuts to cut him out.

I pulled in the coral color with Coral ink blended onto  Polar White card stock cut from the Split Circle Cover Panel. I popped it up with foam dots, you can see the detail here in this photo.

The sentiment was easy with the help of Navy card stock and the Party & Celebrate Confetti Cut. I finished it off with a greeting from So Many Sentiments. A strip of striped paper from Sweet Stripes

Now here is some great inspiration from the talented design team.  We can't wait to see what you create!

It's an exciting week around here. It's the final day of RELEASE week for Lil' Inker Designs and there are some fun and fabulous stamps and dies just for you! I love it all, and you will too!

Oh, wait....before I dive in, you can find all the release details over on Laura's Blog. check it out! You can find the shopping link HERE....but you'll want to wait to see what the team has to share. It's soooo good, trust me.

Don't forget....you can WIN IT ALL!

All you have to do is leave comments along your way  today and every day, as you hop.  We'll pick one winner from a DT Member's blog. Today is the last day to leave comments for your chance to win.

One of my favorite things about stamping companies is when they release products that stand alone AND also work together with coordinating products. It really allows for all kinds of budgets to shop and enjoy new goodies.  I combined a handful of new release products on my last card.

Black and white tropical prints with a pop of green are so on trend this summer. I went with this trend and used the leaf images from Think Happy Thoughts Tropical stamped in Midnight ink along the bottom of my card. I cut the "aloha" word from green striped paper with the Hawaiian Word dies. I am soooo so happy Laura created the shadow die with these words.

I tucked in a sweet Pineapple Shaker die. How great is that texture? I love the detail on this die.  I went a step further and added an element of fun with the tropical drink from Think Happy Thoughts Tropical, colored it up with Copics and then used the matching Think Happy Thoughts Tropical Dies to cut it out with ease. I tied on a bit of natural hemp twine for a touch of added texture.

Here is the blog hop line up for today.
Join me to see what the rest of the team has created.

Lisa Henke <<----You are here

And here is a closer look at the new products I used today.
Be sure to check back tomorrow, I have more new release projects to share and you have another chance to win!

I have a handful of new products to share today. I was so giddy about this gorgeous pineapple set. It's called Something Sweet and I heat embossed it with some Rose Gold embossing powder. I am always thrilled when there are matching Something Sweet dies for a stamp set.

Here is a closer look at the gorgeous detail of this stamp. You can also get a look at the fun background I created with the new Pineapple Collage Stencil. I got a new spool of natural hemp twine, so I tied some on.

I embossed a sentiment from the Something Sweet stamp set in matching rose gold embossing powder. Check it out.

I used another new stencil from this release on my next card. It's called Floral Damask and it's so pretty. I used the Life Changing Blending Brushes and Coral ink to show off the adorable Sasha Kitten stamp.

I kept Sasha Kitten pretty simple, a touch of YG11 copic to color up her eyes. I stamped the sentiment in Intense Black ink. Oh, how I wish I could live like a cat. Isn't that stamp great?!
