Color Throwdown 537/ Dear Friend/The Stamp Market

Hi, everyone!  It’s Lori and it’s my turn as hostess for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge.  The colors from this week's inspiration photo are purple, yellow, green, and gray.  The colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals along with the challenge colors.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD537 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd537and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.  One last detail to remember, no digital designs.  Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I pulled out the pretty leaf and stamps by The Stamp Market. The Botanical Beauty is such an awesome die. I cut it multiple times and used a variety of of outline images to make two cards this week.

I started with the polka dotted background on the Dear Friend card. I stamped the Confetti background stamp in Stone ink on Premium Polar White card stock. I then cut the Botanical Beauty from Stormy card stock and three more times;  from Polar White, once from Polar White stamped with the polka dots in Wisteria ink, and once from each of the pattern papers from the Color Crush Patterns pack

I stamped the sentiment from Dear Friend stamp set.  Here is a closer look at the beautiful details I added.

The second card I created because I had all the extra pieces leftover from the first card. I added a strip of the green gingham pattern paper from Color Crush Patterns to the right side of the Scallop Frame die cut in Stormy card stock. I stamped the sentiment from Dear Friend in Stormy ink and then tucked in the Botanical Beauty die. I added in the purple color with some sequins on this one.

Now here is some great inspiration from the talented design team.  We can't wait to see what you create!

Please welcome

Now let's see what you can do with these colors!
