Color Throwdown 520/Snowman and Snowflakes

Hello throwdown friends!   Wanda is here as our hostess and she's  bringing you an earthy color palette - kraft, green, brown and cream - to inspire you.  Remember, you can add in any neutrals as you wish.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD520, and please use #ctd520 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, and not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check them out to be sure.  It’s also important to use no digital designsonly digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

It's a busy holiday week for many of us, but hopefully you'll find some time to take a creative break and play along with us!

I had different plans for this card, but when I couldn't locate a die for the snowflake I was going to to create as a focal point, I switched gears and colored up the adorable snowman from the Cool Friend stamp set. I did some quick water coloring with my Zig Clean Color Brush markers and used the Cool Friend Confetti Cuts to cut him out.  In the background I stamped the solid snowflakes in Sand from Snowflake Magic

I framed it all up with the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts in Dark Roast card stock. I added some clear tiny sequins and a splattering of white mist by Studio Calico.

I had some fun with these colors and using  them on this  unexpected wintry card with.
Oh, and don't forget.....Reverse Confetti has a great Black Friday Sale running for you. Happy Shopping!

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!
