Color Throwdown 514

Hello, Color Throwdown friends!  Amy is our  hostess for the week and she picked a beautiful Autumn inspired colors for you to play with - orange, brown, rust and yellow. You can also add in any neutrals as you wish.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD514, and please use #ctd514 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, and not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check them out to be sure.  It’s also important to use no digital designsonly digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

This sweet little pup was just begging me to ink him up, so I did. The whole set is from Picket Fence Studios and it's called Friendly Mutts. It is such a sad reason to send a card, but I love that I have stamps to help create a card that might put a smile on the other end of it. There are happy sentiments included to, I'll have to use the other favorite greeting next time.

I used the Scallop Square Confetti Cut from Reverse Confetti  in Rust to create the pretty frame and in the background I stenciled in some chevrons  from the Pointed Out Stencil in yellow and orange ink with the Life Changing Blender Brushes. Rounding out the colors for the challenge, I inked the sentiment in Dark Roast ink. Here's a closer look.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!
