Reverse Confetti July Stock Your Stash

Hello! I CANNOT believe we are at the end of July already!!! I'm getting sad....that means it's almost time for my boys to go back to school and I do not like that. Summer just flies by. That also means you only have a few more days left to link up to this month's Stock Your Stash Challenge over on the RC Blog. This month's challenge theme is Oh, BABY!!!

I used the adorable raccoon and fox from Greatest Adventure and lots of layers to make this sweet little baby card. I started with a water colored background and then layered over a Mist Polka Panel Confetti Cut

I then used my favorite cross hatched frame from All Framed Up Confetti Cuts in Premium Polar White card stock. I colored up the critters with my Copics and colored the stack of gifts from  Lift Me Up. I used the coordinating confetti Cuts for both of those sets to cut out the images easily. I added a sentiment from Bear Hugs

We hope you'll play along. Come stamp with us and add a card or two to your stash.

There will be a new Stock Your Stash challenge posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 29th of the month. Click the "Play Along..." button on our sidebar to go current link list post.
Reverse Confetti stamps and/or Confetti Cuts are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!
You may enter as many times as you wish.
Use #SYSChallenge when playing along with this challenge.
There will be a random winner selected each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store. The winner of challenge will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog at the end of the month.  **NOTE, the winner will be announced the first week of August for the July STS, as our offices will be closed at the end of the month while we take some much needed time away with the family.**

Color Throwdown #503

**please scroll down for my Lil' Inker Designs Release Post***

Hi, all!  Broni is our hostess this week for the Color Throwdown Challenge. She's chosen a pretty classic, all-season color combo for us to play with: Red, Green, and Gray.

If you upload your paper-crafted creation to a public gallery please use the keyword CTD503, and when uploading on social media sites please use #ctd503 and #colorthrowdown.  Please be sure to check out all the guidelines for playing along in the sidebar.

I love grey. It's such a fantastic neutral. I used two tones of it, Stormy and Stone from Reverse Confetti on today's card with touches of the other two challenge colors. I started with the striped Frame Confetti Cut in Stormy card stock. I then stamped the larger solid floral image with Pistachio ink from Elegant Florals and stamped the matching smaller flower cluster (yes, it fits perfectly over top to make layering sooooo easy!) from Elegant Florals in Stone ink and then used the Elegant Florals Confetti Cuts to cut them both out.

I added the touch of red for the challenge colors, by stamping a sentiment from The Most Beauty in Salsa ink

Here are some wonderful creations from the design team for your inspiration.

Lil' Inker Designs July Release-Day 3

Hello! It's the final day of our July Release blog hop. I hope you have loved all the projects we created. I know I loved sharing with you all. You can find all the release details over on Laura's Blog. Check it! You can find the shopping link HERE....but you'll want to wait to see what the team has to share.

I have a sweet and simple card to close out this release blog hop using the very cool Perfect Palette die and the Spiffy Spots stamp set. I used Fresh Inks in a cool color combo to fill in only a few of the circle windows.

I used some grey ink to stamp the "hello" sentiment from Spiffy Spots and then tucked in a scattering of clear sequins.

Here's one more look at the finished card front.

Here is the blog list for today!

Lil' Inker Designs July Release-Day 2

It is day two of the July Release by Lil' Inker Designs. If you missed the kick off yesterday, be sure to stop by and leave some love for a chance to WIN the full release. We are back today with more of the new release products.

I love making birthday cards. We always need them and they are so fun to share. The Scooter Balloons stamp set is so fun to work with.

I found it easiest to stamp the Scooter image first and then die cut the image with the matching Scooter Balloons dies. Then stamp the balloons. I used my Copics to color them up. I also decided to add another detail with some Crystal Effects to give the balloons a real-life look.

The background was easy to create. I used the newest addition to the Quilted Stitched Cover plates line up. This one is called Quilted Stitched So Stylish. I love how it looks like little starbursts. I added some Squeezed Lemon Distress oxide ink, for a burst of color.

I created a road for the Scooter with the Border Builders Dies. I stamped the "toot toot" sentiment from Scooter Balloons in Midnight ink. I rounded the bottom corners and called this done. Isn't this set so fun??!! I sure think so.

All you have to do is leave comments along your way today as you hop. They should be left before Sunday, July 29th at 11:30 PM EST in order to be eligible for our prize. We'll pick one winner from a DT Member's blog and announce shortly after the 29th.

Lil' Inker Designs July Release-Day 1

Hey, hey! Welcome. It's the end of July and we have a treat for you....the July Lil' Inker Release is here. It's a smaller release but JAM packed with greatness! Oh, wait....before I dive in, you can find all the release details over on Laura's Blog. check it out! You can find the shopping link HERE....but you'll want to wait to see what the team has to share. it's soooo good, trust me.

I am IN.LOVE. with this set. It's called Animal Doctors and all the little smiley faces on the little bits, PLUS the darling larger trio of the medical team make me swooon....it's all just too, too sweet! I'm sharing this first because I have popped this one in the mail to a friend that is healing from a surgery. I hope she loves it.

I started with some Polar white card stock cut with the Stitched Mats-Rectangle dies and I stamped all the little images from Animal Doctors to create a custom background that I could color with my copics.

I left most of the center empty so I could add the Mist Stitched Mats Circle frame. I used this circle frame to show off the darling little ellie and bunny images. After I colored the images with my Copics, I used the matching Animal Doctors dies to cut them out.

The other part of this stamp set that makes me smile is the mix of fonts with all the different sentiments. I used two different sentiments to create the greeting. Here's a closer look.
