Color Throwdown 449-Happy Graduation

Good Morning Color Throwdown Fans!  Le't's welcome Vickie as this week's CTD Challenge!  So these colors may remind you of fall (just a little) but, look at that gorgeous poppy- warm weather folks!!  Our colors this week are orangegreen, and brown.  The colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD449 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd449 and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.

I Love this stamp set and Confetti Cuts. If you are looking for a great all inclusive set, you need this one. It's the Whole Lotta Happy stamp set and Happy Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts. I also added some stars from Seeing Stars and the Pointed Out stencil in the background. I used RC colors: Tangerine, Avocado, Cloud White, and Dark Roast. The stencil was done with Tangerine and some Rust inks.

Check out what the team has created with these colors, and then add yours!  We cannot wait to see what you create!

Reverse Confetti June SFYTT

Hello Fetti Friends! I have a card for you today with the current SFYTT. There is still time to play along, so come check it out.

I used the adorable pandas from Miso Happy. I stamped them up and then added some shading with my Copics. I used the Miso Happy Confetti Cuts to cut the pair out and a stick of bamboo. I layered up circles, the large solid one from Circles 'n Scallops and then the stitched circle from Pop Up Circle

I the cool open circles in the background are from the Double Panel Circles Confetti Cuts. I cut those from Sand card stock. I layered the images onto a Cloud white and added an edge of color with my favorite RC Aqua card stock

Here's the sketch

Here are the challenge details…

I have a final dose of pretty for you today. Isn't this Blossoms and Banners stamp set just the sweetest?? I love that you get three different floral and banners AND you can customize any of it with a different greeting for all your needs. I stamped one of the Blossoms and Banners and used my Zig Clean Color Brush markers to color it up. Cutting was made easy with the matching Blossoms and Banners Dies

I really wanted to showcase it and I love windows so I cut out a stitched circle with the  Stitched Mats-circles die

In the background I smooshed on some distress in in Picked Raspberry, let it dry and then die cut with the Quilted Stitch Basket Weave die. I love the texture it adds to the mostly white card. Sequins were the finishing touches.

Day 2 Lil' Inker June Release

The fun started yesterday as we kicked off summer with an amazing Lil' Inker Designs release! I'm so glad you stopped by, we have three fun filled days planned for you full of awesome samples from the design team AND PRIZES.....AND a SALE!!! So much good, good stuff!

Today I am sharing some pretty with two beautiful stamp sets. I'll start with Jar of Flowers. I used the jar a colorful bouquet to as a focal panel for the gorgeous Quilted Stitched Basket Weave die

I just love the blooms and greenery included in the set. I stamped them out and then used the Jar of Flowers Dies to cut them out. I added a simple sentiment along the bottom. I cut out the finished panel with one of the Silly Stitched Squares

I used another stitched die for my image panel, but this time it was the Silly Stitched Rectangles. I First embossed the beautiful "you are" stamp from Lovely and Sweet stamp set with white embossing powder. I then sponged on some distress ink to color the whole panel. I gave it a splattering of water to activate the ink, as well as some splatters with actual ink.

I decided to finish off the sentiment with the word "awesome" from Seriously Awesome stamp set. Here is a close up of the gorgeous detail from the Lovely and Sweet stamp set

Take a closer look at the New Products I used on today's cards.

Curtain Call-Sorbet

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

the LEAD will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

I have no idea what made me think of pineapple when I saw this Challenge graphic, but I did and I went with it and I acutally LOOOOVE how this card turned out. I started with the Leaf Lattice Stencil and some Picked Raspberry distress ink. I gave it a splattering of clean water and some of the pink ink, let it dry and finished the rest of my die cutting.

I then inked up the Pineapples Aplenty with Piggy Bank ink and the top with Lime Green ink and used the Pineapples Aplenty Confetti Cuts to cut it out. I then topped that with a simple hello word die from Hello & Thanks Label Confetti Cuts. I sponged on some Picked Raspberry distress ink to give it an ombre look and to stick to the all pink card.

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!
