Reverse Confetti August Countdown to Confetti-Day 1

Let the fun begin! It is time for the Countdown to Confetti and the Reverse Confetti August Release. We may have taken the month of July off, but that only means we have DOUBLE the awesomeness for you this release. It is seriously Jam Packed with cuteness!
Make sure you start on the Reverse Confetti Blog so you get to see all the release details, Jen's amazing projects AND the line up from the Confetti Crew.

You'll also want to make sure to leave comments on the DT blogs AND the RC Facebook page for a chance to win one of two prizes...free shopping from RC! Woohoo!
Today we are kicking off the cuteness with two stamp set and with coordinating Confetti Cuts, Just Brew It and Cute As A Button.

Let's kick start it with the cool new coffee inspired set. It rocks! I love the giant solid mugs. The stamp set is called Just Brew it! I stamped the mug and then used the Just Brew It Confetti Cuts to cut it out. I added it to a coffee inspired water colored background. I made this card tall & skinny, just like I like my coffee. heheh.

Here is a closer look at the detail. I tied on some cappuccino twine and scattered some sequins onto the card base.

From coffee to babies. Sticking with the fabulous solid images Reverse Confetti is known for, this time it's a onesie and I just adore all the sentiments. This one is a boy card and it's my favorite sentiment from Cute As A Button. I stamped it with some ombre ink and then cut it out with the Cute As A Button Confetti Cut

A little back story on this card.....it's my re-do. The boys locked the puppy (who turned 1 in July) in my craft room one afternoon while they were playing hide and seek. I was sitting right there, working away and when I got up from my desk I found this! Ack! Good thing he is cute!

and really, it was a blessing in disguise, because I actually LOVE my re-do so much better. So I feel like I won. lol. I the oh-so-cool ABC Cover Panel. You'll also notice I cut some Heart to Heart Confetti Cut from vellum. Such a pretty way to add some subtle details.

I decided I needed to make a baby girl card, too. This time I only used the Cute As A Button Confetti cut and accented it with a glittery word die from Fancy Words Confetti Cuts.

I used two more awesome new Confetti Cuts, the Rounded Rectangle Band and my absolutely Favorite Favorite new product from this release the All Framed Up Confetti Cut. I squealed out loud when I saw this in my package last month. It is amaze balls and has so  many possibilities. I will be sharing so much more of this the coming days.

The die cut stripes are from the Straight Stripes Pretty Panels Confetti Cut. Yep, they fit perfectly with this new band. I love that Jen takes all this into consideration when designing new products. Combining old with new just makes me happy!

That's it from me today. Be sure to check back tomorrow for more Countdown to Confetti. See you then.

  8. Gorgeous cards! Awesome coffee stain BG on the first. Very pretty baby cards. I have a small parrot who is out of his cage whenever we are, so if I leave my craft room, I always shut the door as I'm terrified he will chew on my creations. lol

  41. My little Bear loved to chew on the pieces of paper that
fell on the floor. She never chewed a whole card - guess I was lucky that one never fell on the floor.
    I love the re-do.
the coffee spill card is fun. I'll have to
    make one of those.
thanks for sharing some darling cards.

  42. Those puppies can be sneaky like that! My cat Max used to love to bite off paper flowers and leaves off my cards, or steal them off the desk when I was working! He still runs in the room whenever he hears the paper cutter, so I always give him a long skinny paper scrap that he runs off with! It's out thing now! Your cards are gorgeous and the re-do looks amazing too!
