Today we are rockin' it out with dad! The Tie-rific stamp set and coordinating Tie-rific Confetti Cut is a must have. There are so may things I love about this set, starting with the adorable polka dotted tie image and then the great dad word die.

It is Wednesday, and that also means it is time for a new Color Throwdown color challenge. I used this week's colors on my first dad card, here with the new Tie-rific stamp set and matching Tie-rific Confetti Cuts. Here is the color board for this week's challenge. Head over to the CTD Board to see all the challenge details.

SO the details on this card are so fun, dontcha think? The cool plaid frame is one of Quick Card Panels-School Days cut with the Insta-Frame Confetti Cut.  The white card stock panel was cut to 2.25 x 3.5 to fit perfectly in the frame. The sweet little yellow heart comes from that die set, too. I stamped the tie in Orange Zest ink and added the sentiment over top stamped in grey ink.

I didn't want to put this set away yet, so I made up an easy gifty. I am stoked that there is the word Papa in this set. My boys call both their grandfather's papa. We always give my FIL gift cards, but I also like to include a little something extra, so this little Frosted Pillowbox filled with his favorite nuts and a sweet tag is a great idea.

The Squared Off Tag Topper is so super cool. I am always drawn to anything graphic and this is too fun!  It works with the previously released Topped Off Tag. I used the top part of the die (there is also a longer, piece that fits the side of the tag. I stamped the sentiment from Tie-rific stamps in two different colored inks and added one of the ties, too. I cut it out with the Tie-rific Confetti Cut. I balanced off the tag with some stars from Oh My Stars and added one of the Hang Ups Confetti Cuts to the top.

Here is a closer look at the new products I used that you can pick up on the 8th!

Don't forget to leave comments along the way
and to start the fun over on Jen's blog.

See you back here tomorrow....same time, same place!
Have a beautiful day.
