Color Throwdown #375-birthday bunch

Welcome to another great round with the Color Throwdown Challenge. Joan is the hostess for this round and she picked a great combo sure to brighten your day.

Here is my card. It is my son's birthday card. I had recently gotten these adorable animals from Simon Says Stamp, Stacking Animals,  and they were perfect to make my tween smile. Take a close look....you won't believe it, I ACTUALLY mixed manufacturers on my card. WOW! My designer brain really struggles with this so I am quite proud of myself. Papers are from MFT, dies are all from Lil' Inker Designs, and the sentiment is from Reverse Confetti

Here is a close up of the cutie pie animals. I colored them up with copics and added some white gel pen accents. I then cut them out and popped them up. I just love them.

I stamped the sentiment with some white ink and then hit it with some embossing powder. I love making a sentiment pop on a dark card stock this way. I accented it with an enamel dot and a pretty solid green twine bow.

  1. Dear Lisa, I saw your card over at the Color throwdown and wanted to let you know that I LOVE it! It is so cute! Of course, those critters are eye catching in itself, but your card is really really gorgeous! I also love this color combination from the new challenge. ... need to try it myself. ... and now I NEED to have this stamp set also :)

  2. Yes, really the image which has been uploaded above has been really outstanding and marvelous. Really this colour throw down will be going to be one of the best platform for all to exhibit their talents in the field of painting. Since, i have been working as a research paper writer in one of the leading online research paper service website, i can understood and analyze that with the help of this colour throw down scheme they will be able to find out so many new talents who are all present all over the world.
