Lil' Inker Rlease {day 2 Rosemaling}

Welcome to day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs March Release!! Wasn't yesterday awesome??!! If you missed it, be sure to check out the hop and all the info about the new products. So glad you are here today.....there's more awesomeness coming your way. You should have arrived here from Laura William's Blog. If not, then start back at the LID Blog. Be sure to leave some comments on all the designers blogs....there are prizes up for grabs! You could be the lucky winner of an LID gift certificate. Woohoo!

Kicking things off today with a gorgeous new stamp set. I have to admit, when I first saw this set I was a little intimidated. BUT.....once I sat down and started stamping.....all my fears  were gone. This is called Really Rosemailing and it is so beautifully designed.

I also have to admit I didn't know what Rosemaling was. So, what does one do when they don't know something?.....turn to Pinterest! Awesome inspiration there.
 I used the Stitched Mats-Rounded Rectangles cut my image panel from smooth white card stock. I lined up my inks and got busy stamping! I had so much fun designing this card. Here's a closer look.

I also wanted to try this stamp set to make a more simple card. This time I reached for Stitched mats-long & skinny rectangles. I ran it through my die cut machine twice, once in grout grey card stock and then again in spearmint. I then used the Border Builder die to create a rolling hill for my flowers.

I used the Really Rosemaling stamp set to create my trio of blooms and then curved the sentiment to add some movement to my card. I think it really shows off the hill top.

Don't forget there is a great SPECIAL OFFER going on this release! You can get the cool new Wonky Squares at 25% OFF with a qualifying purchase!

the other dies I used on today's card.

thanks for stopping by today. Come back tomorrow for more excitement. I'll send you on your way. This is the end for today, so head on over to the LID shop
